I have been using Luvs diapers since my baby was born.  They are not fantastic, but they get the job done without all the problems I encountered with Target Diapers.  I didn't really have a problem with Luvs but I wanted to experiment with other brands to see how they compared.  The Target Brand Diapers were horrible, Huggies are great and Luvs falls somewhere in the middle.  I still have not tried Pampers.

Like most other people, the only reason why I have been buying Luvs diapers is because they are the cheapest name-brand diaper.  They are not a fantastic diaper, but they don't leak and they get the job done.  They feel very thin compared to Huggies.  I haven't had any problems with the tabs like I did with the Target brand diapers.

Since using them for 11 months, I have only encountered a handful of leaks, and that was only because of rare occasions.  Luvs fit my son just as well as Huggies.  Sometimes the leg area seems loose, but it hasn't caused any problems.  The elastic sides are not as stretchy as other brands that I have tried.

The Scoop!

I would recommend these diapers because they do work good and get the job done.  If you are interested in a thicker, more absorbent diaper, I would try Huggies.  For the price, they are a good diaper.

I would stick with Huggies for overnight, but Luvs work great during the day. Save money by using Luvs in the daytime :)

t2sp, how do they hold up over night? I have been using Huggies for overnight, but LUVs is cheaper. What do you think? Should I stick with Huggies?

Pampers is the only one I haven't tried yet! I think it is the most expensive brand, that's probably why.

I was just telling someone the other week that I didn't even know they still made Luvs. My niece and nephews wore Luvs and Huggies and all my friends use Pampers. With all the new cloth-style disposables I think they are all pretty reliable. I think I would choose Pampers though :+) ~Gigi
