Luvs Diapers —

Luvs are a little bit of the best of both worls: price and quality.

I first tried Luvs on my son as a newborn, and I did not care for them at that time. I think that it was the tab style. Honestly? Luvs are more practical for older children, in my opinion. Diaper prices on sizes N, 1 and 2 are fairly comparable because you get so many diapers in a package. As the sizes climb, so does the price, while the amount of diapers you can get in a box decreases.

My Target carries boxes of Luvs in size 4 (our current size), 15.99 for 72. Very reasonable. Recently, I've found a box of 4s for 18 dollars and change and 92 in the box at Winco. Obviously going to be getting my Luvs from there from now on. I digress.

Bad things about Luvs:

The tabs are a little weird, if you ask me. They are a combination of velcro (yay) and sticker (nay). I wish that they were all velcro - the sticker is a little useless if you ask me, as it weakens with every attachment/detachment.
They used to be okay for overnight use for me, but not these days. My little guy can sleep all night, and he needs a thicker diaper.

Great things about Luvs:

Regardless of the silly sticker tabs, they usually don't cause a problem because the side panels are SOOOO stretchy. I have not had many of them break, and I like the way they hug Xander's hips.
Absorbency is wonderful for day. I haven't had a leak, even with his very active litle boy lifestyle ;)
The design is cute - Blues Clues is a refreshing change from some of the other company's choices.

I LOVE my Luvs... they save me coin and yet they are a better diaper than storebrand can compete with.

I've used Luvs Diapers on my little guy. I agree with you about the tabs. That is a good price at Winco. We don't have Winco's here in Georgia. =) ~Krista Lynn
