Why would they change a perfect product into one that leaks?

I am the mother of twin 2 year old boys, and have two older daughters as well. I have always used the Luv's product even though I tried using Pampers and Huggies and then generic brands with all of my children. Luv's just has always been the best value for my money and has simply been the one that fit best. Ever since they switched to the 'bear hug' design, however, my boys wake up with wet diapers and require more clothing changes during the day due to leakage. To me, they are trying to copy what the others are doing (and have failed at, in my opinion).
