I started out with the more expensive diapers with my oldest daughter, but was not happy with them.  I started using Luvs and never had any trouble.  She was really into Blues Clues too so she liked them a lot.  now, i have daughter number two and we are using Luvs again.  The new bear hug stretch is great.  It gives the diaper a better fit.  We have only had a few leaks when we were getting ready to move up to the next size.  I have never had a side tab break.  They always attach and reattach with no problem!
