This product saved my daughters hair!!!!!!

By

from USA

Comments about Lusters Pink Oil Moisturizer Hair Lotion, Regular Conditioning:

My daughter who was about 2 at the time had very long, thick, and curly hair. Her curls were the tight kind though that would often get tangled with either a comb or a brush. I needed to find something gentle enough to resolve this that wouldnv irritate her skin because of her age. I tried several different products and they just didn't work. I used this Pink Moisturizer in my hair for years, since I was a tween. I had a bottle of it on my dresser so I decided to try it on her hair judging by the magic that its worked for me over the years. I have the same grain as my daughter. Well, it worked!!! She is now 9 and we still use it to this day. We love this product!

Great for controlling frizz

By

Comments about Lusters Pink Oil Moisturizer Hair Lotion, Regular Conditioning:

My daughter has extremely long hard to control curly hair. I have used almost every hair product there is to try and control her curly locks. Most of the products we have tried on her hair before this product worked horrible and they smelt pretty bad too. This hair product is different than the other stuff we tried before though. It makes her hair so soft and shiny and it smells really good too, It smells kind of like baby lotion. I started noticing a difference in the shape and feel of her curls within the first time I used this hair product. Other products I tried before in her hair always seemed to weigh down her curls and made her hair look dull and lifeless. This pink oil moisturizer has a really thick, creamy texture, so it makes it pretty easy to apply. I just put about a quarter-size amount in my palm rub my hands together, apply this product to her hair and comb it through to the ends and let it dry. I am so glad I found this product, it has made such a difference in my child's hair.

Keeps hair from drying out

By

Comments about Lusters Pink Oil Moisturizer Hair Lotion, Regular Conditioning:

When I was young my mother always used Lusters pink oil moisturizer hair lotion to keep my hair from drying out and fizzing. I used it all through high school and occasionally I use it to this day. When I had my daughter i bought it and used it on her hair because she also has frizzy curly hair if you don't put something in it. I love the way it smells and I use it on her hair almost daily. Im so glad there was a hair moisturizer that I can trust because I have used it for many years. I have tried other lusters products and I was not happy with them . So I will just stick with the hair lotion.

a reliable time tested product

Comments about Lusters Pink Oil Moisturizer Hair Lotion, Regular Conditioning:

I have been using Luster's Pink Oil hair conditioning lotion since the late 1970's. I used it when I had my hair pressed with a hot comb, when I used relaxers, wore an Afro and when I wear a chruly or wavey perm. Luster's Pink oil Lotion works with all styles. This is a quality product. Luster's Pink Oil lotion moisturies my scalp which pevents dandruff and itching. It conditions my hair, leaving it silk and shiney. I have tried cheaper brands of pink oil lotion and been very disappointed. The store brands pour out like water. And leave my hair slick as if I got caught in the rain. Luster Pink Oil Lotion is the real deal. It has the right consistancy of ingredients to soften my hair and not leave it wet and slick. Luster's Pink Oil lotion has b vitamins which nourish hair and scalp. This is a product that i highly recomend for women of color who have dry kinky hair. Luster's Pink oil lotion goes on smooth and combs or brushes easily. And does not leave any residue.

Been using Pink Oil for 30 years!

Comments about Lusters Pink Oil Moisturizer Hair Lotion, Regular Conditioning:

Having African American hair, I know exactly how necessary it is to have a quality moisturizer. Since I was a very young child, I have always used Pink Oil moisturizer lotion on my hair. I like the fact that it absorbs fairly quickly and seems to provide an adequate amount of moisturizer. In addition, it has a pleasant scent that isn't overpowering. I do like it's lotion texture and consistency, which makes it easy to apply and spread evenly throughout hair. The best part about this product is that the price is about right and is not too expensive. Although I have tried other moisturizers in my lifetime, I have always come back to using this product and will continue to do so.

Another thing I find that is exceptional about this product is that it is very easy to find in most stores. Even some of the stores in less urban areas usually carry this line of products. this makes it very easy to find, even when traveling.

Pink Lotion does not lock in moisture

By

from Denton, TX

Comments about Lusters Pink Oil Moisturizer Hair Lotion, Regular Conditioning:

This product I know has been around for a long time but it needs improvement. It's main active ingredient is mineral oil. Mineral oil just sits on top of the hair and makes it oily and clumpy. I did not find that this product worked well on my daughters hair at all. I tried applying it to wet hair as well as dry but neither seemed to make it work better. It was even suggested to me to try to apply it directly to the comb or pick but that worked even worse. I think if you are looking for a product that will give you moisture and shin this is not the product for you. There are getting to be more options in the world of African American hair and I think there are better options. This item was also a little on the pricey side considering how poorly it performed. The only good thing I can say about Pink Lotion is that it does smell good and that is a plus. I would say this would almost be better as a lotion for dry skin if it didn't feel so incredibly oily.
