Lunesta is one of the new class f sleep aids such as Ambien or Rozarem. I suffer from sleeping problems, and my doctor suggested Ambien. It does help in sleeping, but I gave it a 3 out of 5 for two reasons. The first is that I noticed I had to increase the dosage each week to have the same effect (tolerance building). Secondly, the cost of the medicine is very high. If you do not have any health insurance, this is probably not the right medication for you. I think overall the medicine is great for the short term, but if you are going to use long term, Lunesta is probably not the right choice.
