This is a genuine wormwood liqueur.

By

from Nokesville, VA

Comments about Lucid Absinthe Superieure:

**Lucid Absinthe Superieure **is not just another licorice-flavored liqueur. It is a very complex, delicately perfumed spirit. It combines the bitterness of wormwood, the perfume and sweetness of anise, and the complex flavor of fennel plus other herbs into a 125-proof beverage. The flavors are not cloying, but rather true to their origins, making Lucid an interesting after-dinner beverage. Skip the dessert and have a small glass of Lucid instead. Try it the old European way -- sipped through a sugar cube.An interesting benefit of true wormwood drinks is their aid to digestion. Straight wormwood tea (wormwood leaves steeped in hot water) has been used for centuries as a treatment for indigestion, stomach upset, and nausea. For greatest benefit, no more than one cup is administered. (Wise, as well, when drinking Lucid.)

Prohibition of Absinthe in the US is OVER after nearly 100 years

By

from Yorba Linda, CA

Comments about Lucid Absinthe Superieure:

Absinthe, commonly known as the "Green Fairy" drink from the Moulin Rouge, was first made in the 1800's. It soon blossomed into a popular, highly perfumed spirit used frequently in the areas of art, literature, and fashion. It was once proclaimed to fuel the fires of creativity and was subsequently demonized as a wicked poison, turning people green and making them die. Today we know that it was due to lead poisoning and not the beverage of the times itself. after being illegal for almost 100 years in most countries of the world, including the United States, it has now been proven that it has no reason to be illegal according to todays standards set by the FDA. So here it is! A delicious spirit made of Grande wormwood, Anise, and Fennel, distilled in the Combier distillery of TA Breaux in strict accordance to traditional French methods. It has no artificial colors or additives, and is a refreshing beverage to enjoy with friends, or to relax at the end of a stressful day. I've been trying different Absinthes from various parts of the world, and Lucid is second to none as far as I am concerned. I'm thrilled that it is now legal to purchase inside the United States, and I no longer have to pay the exorbitant fees to get a bottle shipped here from Europe. I hope you'll try it and enjoy it as much as I do. Go ahead, Give it a try. I'm positive you're going to love it.
