This is great! No streaks, no orange - just a beautiful tan. I have always rubbed it in, even though the directions tell you rubbing is not needed - i take no chances with streaks. The smell is not awful, but not great. It is worst when it comes into contact with water, i.e. in the shower. I tend to break out easily, but I use this on my face and it causes no breakouts which is an extra plus!Overall, I think this is a great product and I am really enjoying being safely tan year round.

I am trying out various self tanners in preparation for a summer wedding. I bought this particular L'Oreal self-tanner in the hope that it would be easier to apply, have less room for error (i.e. streaks), and smell better than the usual self-tanners. However, I've found that it still smells musty, and is difficult to apply. The spray nozzle is alright, but trying not to over-do it in hard to reach areas such as the middle of my back was tricky. I ended up having spots where the spray was applied too heavily. The one good thing about this product is that it dried pretty quickly.I think I'll stick to the lotions. Overall, I think they are easiest to apply and have less room for error. I'm still looking for one that smells nice!

Microfine Mist

Comments about L'Oreal Sublime Glow Moisturizing Microfine Mist:

I liked the whole mist concept by L'Oreal and I thought it added a lot to the whole application process and ease of application as well. I don't like when I don't have an easy way to apply my tanner in a hurry. This was like the answer to my prayers. The time it takes to dry isn't too terribly long as well, usually after I mist my arms and legs it takes a good twenty minutes for it to completely dry.

Effectiveness
It worked pretty effortlessly and effectively in my opinion. For my body type I didn't need a drastic change in skin tone so for what I got and for what I paid for my product it was money well spent as well as worth the time.

Ease of Application
This is one of the easiest ways to apply a tanner that I have ever tried. The misting thing helps make sure you don't get it all over your hands which is super convenient in making it a no mess hassle. I have to usually do it outside though so that the mist doesn't get all over my carpet or lay something down over my floor.

Very hard to use and smells funny

Comments about L'Oreal Sublime Glow Moisturizing Microfine Mist:

I bought this product when I was trying out which self tanners work the best for my skin. I liked the concept of the spray bottle for easy application. I was hoping it would help to get a more even look without making my skin look orange.
The spray bottle was a huge disappointment, it would not mist out like it states, it comes out uneven and streaky on the skin. I ended up having to reapply and rub it into my skin to make it look somewhat okay. It did not absorb well into my skin at all, and made my skin look more orange than bronze. I was disappointed in the quality of this product.

Effectiveness
This product was not easy to apply and I felt like the color left my skin looking uneven and streaky.

Ease of Application
The spray bottle is not a positive thing with this product, it makes it harder to apply.

Scent
The scent is horrible. It smelled very musty to me and I could smell it on my skin. I had to take a shower to get the smell off of my skin.

Longevity
I am not sure how long it stayed on, I had to take a shower .

Not a fan. Doesn't apply nicely.

Comments about L'Oreal Sublime Glow Moisturizing Microfine Mist:

I'm not a fan of this self tanner. I've tried several different kinds because I wear self tanner a lot, but the spraying on of this is too inconsistent. It states you don't have to do any rubbing of it in at all, but you do. Otherwise it's streaky in certain areas, especially if you haven't exfoliated before hand or just got done shaving. It kind of defeats the purpose of having a spray tanner, which in the end is not economical. You also need to lay down a towel or something else you don't care about while spraying. Droplets can land on areas other than your body. The nozzle didn't clog up or anything, it's just the nature of the spray. It doesn't have an orange color to it, so I did give it a 4 for that. I have given up on trying to find a nice-smelling self tanner. This starts out smelling okay, but quickly dissipates into a foul odor that doesn't go away until you shower. The tan itself lasted a little less than other tanners I've used, too.

YOU ARE KIDDING ME! Don't waste your money or time!

Comments about L'Oreal Sublime Glow Moisturizing Microfine Mist:

About the best thing that I can say about this product is that it's made by L'Oreal and that it does work....for about 2 hours and then it just seems to evaporate off your skin. I have tried everything that I can think of to make it stick, but nothing seems to work. I have even go so far as to follow the directions...still no go.

My best advice would to try something else, stay away from this junk.

Effectiveness
If you want something that is just going to last a little while, like while out on a date or something like that OK, but for a day at the office, well you'll be sorry. Because by the end of the day your tan will be GONE!

Ease of Application
Oh it is easy to apply just rub it in like your lotion and you got it, but be sure to wash and rinse your hands immediately afterward. And although it doesn't work as a tanner, it will turn your hands orange and they will stay that way for a few days.

Scent
Smells great and that would be alright if that was all that you wanted.

Longevity
This stuff will not make it for a complete 8 hours, it will have long before then have feded to just a memory.

It's a great product for legs.

Comments about L'Oreal Sublime Glow Moisturizing Microfine Mist:

I tried this product out after having a good experience with a similar spray type product. I bought the light skin tone mist and I was actually okay with it. It wasn't great but it wasn't terrible either. It took a few days to get the desired color.

Here's my experience with it.

I was going to Alabama for a few days in the middle of the summer. My legs frequently are lighter than the rest of my skin. They do not tan as well for some reason, even when I put them in the tanning bed separately they just don't seem to get as much color as the rest of me.

I wasn't able to find my usual product on the shelves so I chose this one. It has a nice aerosol spray top to it that I really like. It is great for legs. I used it for three days on my legs and my legs looked like they were much closer to the color of the rest of me. I ended up only having to apply it every other day after the first three days because the color was right where I wanted it to be and I didn't want it to fade or get too dark.

It didn't get on my clothes but the nozzle did clog now and a again so I had to clean the nozzle after every use. Also, the spray gets everywhere. I used it on the lawn a few times and in the shower a few times with the doors closed so keep it from getting everywhere.

Effectiveness
It takes a little work but I managed to get just what I want out of this product. I only used it on my legs but I love the airbrush type look it gave me.

Ease of Application
It is easy to apply but you have to be careful because the fine mist sprays on everything around it.

Scent
The scent isn't too horrible but be careful because the fine mist is easy to accidentally inhale. It does not taste good.

Longevity
It lasts a few days but it does wash off faster than most.

Comments about L'Oreal Sublime Glow Moisturizing Microfine Mist:

I absolutely love this product! It sprays on so evenly and gives a great tan. It's so easy and fast. I never get streaks anywhere espesally around my hands and feet. It's totally worth it and if someone disagrees...they must be putting it on wrong or not wearing enough lotion and exfoliating regularly. I love love LOVE this product!

Be careful, it stains!

By

Comments about L'Oreal Sublime Glow Moisturizing Microfine Mist:

Wish I had taken the time to read reviews before buying this one.  Having used Loreal products for years, I bought the spray can of Sublime glow, medium skin tones.  Today I am scrubbing my foot raw, trying to remove a super dark "run" stain on my foot.  I have tried everything imaginable, including OxiClean on a washcloth, and nothing works.  I can't wear sandles until this goes away.  The problem is that the spray goes on clear.  Directions state not to rub, just spray.  Since you can't see where you sprayed, you can get it too heavy in spots.  I have 2 large blothces of dark areas on my legs, not as bad as the horrid spot on my foot, but dark.  I was able to scrub most of these off, and will wear long pants until they fade away.  There are no warnings about permanent staining on the product.  I use commercial spray tans regularly, and have never, ever had staining like this. You can't see where you have applied it until it is too late.

Comments about L'Oreal Sublime Glow Moisturizing Microfine Mist:

LOVE this product and I use it all the time. Very easy to apply, dries quickly and color lasts.

Color is natural, not orange. Never have any streaks. Tip for people interested in this product when using the first time be sure to shave and exfoliate for even coverage. Also, go easy near the knees I always put regular lotion on my knees and elbows before applying this spray

Comments about L'Oreal Sublime Glow Moisturizing Microfine Mist:

This is the best sunless tanner that I have tried so far. I've tried some expensive ones and store brand ones as well and this is the best.  My friends use this and love it too. I would highly recommend it to others because it has a clean fresh scent, goes on like a light rain mist and is not greasy at all. The tan develops pretty quickly and you could even use it on your face. Great product. The only drawback is that there is not a lot of it.

Nothing like anything else before...

Comments about L'Oreal Sublime Glow Moisturizing Microfine Mist:

The summer is almost here, and that means it's the time to start tanning. I decided to try a L'oreal Sublime Glow self-tanner. I usually start tanning in spring, when it's still not a dress season, so that way when it is time for a dress season, - I would already look like I came from Miami few days ago... When I used a L'oreal Sublime Glow self-tanner for about a week - I was surprised at the results. This self-tanner compares a little bit to Dove Energy Glow because it smells great, and the tan was visible within a week! The negative thing about this self-tanner is that it doesn't dry fast, so it made me run around the room naked for some time... Also, I would recommend - and not only for this self-tanner, but any others that you might use, I would recommend that you apply it in the evening, after you take a shower, apply the self-tanner, and then wait some time before putting on your pajamas and going to bed. Another negative thing about L'oreal Sublime Glow is that if you stop using it, the tan washes off within 2-3 days, even if you looked really tanned just few days ago...
