I am picky about lipgloss. Forget about gooey stick lipglosses. I find "wand" lip glosses to usually be best- for example, M.A.C. and Smashbox. This was my first time buying a Lorac lip gloss. I decided to go for the set since the price was so good and because of the reviews. The colors range from on the more subtle side to bright. As for the "tie dye" effect, there is no hazard of the lipgloss mixing up in the tube. In fact, I had to try to get some of the other shades by manipulating the wand! Smell is good, texture is good. Will come off when drinking coffee etc. on mugs, but it's not touted as a lipgloss that doesn't come off. So far no complaints, though because I don't do bright shades often I do tone it down by blotting or combining with another one of the shades that is more neutral.
