Longaberger hand made baskets Review

The Longaberger company is all about family, opportunity, and great products.  The baskets are hand made in Ohio by our fellow Americans.  Not only are they practical, they will last a lifetime.  All baskets have a plastic protector that can be purchased to protect the interior of your basket which gives you the flexiblity to use it for liquid and food products.  In July and August Longaberger has a campaign called Horizon of Hope.  Money from each Horizon of Hope basket and pink mug set goes to the American Cancer Foundation.  To date Longaberger has donated over $12 million.  The pottery is wonderful.  It will look brand new every time you get it out of the diswasher.  It is vitrified which means it can go from the freezer to oven, refrigerator to microwave.  No scrubbing or soaking is necessary.  Might be more expensive than Crate and Barrel dishes, or Target, but these will not crack, chip or craze.  They are available in 10 colors: paprika, ivory, cornflower, butternut, sage, ebony, ivory with red, blue or green design.
