Long Beach Resort - Panama City Beach, FL Reviews

Bed was extremely uncomfortable. It was like sleeping on a bed of slinky's. The bathroom floor could have been cleaned better from the sand that was on it. I realize being a beach place, sand is virtually impossible to get up completely. Upon check in we were asked when we were to be checking out and we said the check out time, 10am. At 9am a girl was knocking on our door asking when we'd be checking out. THEN upon check out, I learn there is a CLEANING FEE that was NOT disclosed upfront! This was our second stay at the Long Beach Resort. Our room was the smallest they offer and it was beautiful and very clean. The only problem is a Resort being build right next door and the construction crew working right outside our balcony. I would not stay on the east side of the property due to the resort being build is noisy and blocks the beach view for the smaller rooms. All others are beautiful views and no contraction. LONG BEACH RESORT WAS LAID OUT VERY WELL THE LARGE POOL WAS FUN. I LIKE HAVE THE "HANG OUT" SNACK BAR BY THE POOL. I LOVED THE LARGE PATIO. THE ROOM WAS A NICE SIZE AND THE BATHROOM WAS ADEQUATE FOR TWO PEOPLE TO PUT MAKE UP ON AND SHAVE AT THE SAME TIME. LOVED EATING AT CAPTAIN ANDERSONS. the room was very large and clean. We enjoyed the ocean view. Didn't have a good variety of food choices on-site, but was close to many off-site locations. Only complaint was cleaning charges added to the bill. Also the glass carafe for the coffee pot was broke at the pouring stem. It was my First Visit I injoyed the stay the only problem I had was the Bath room tub was not all that clean.
