Every now and again do you feel like you walk by a man or woman who is wearing a perfume that you can't quite place but that smells unlkie any fragrance you have sampled at the beauty counter or in a magazine? Lolita Lempicka is a perfume just like that. It is floral in a deep way (not bright like a young woman fragrance) while conjuring up images of classic beauty. The packaging of the perfume is not to be missed. It comes in a very cute box with the name in raised letters on top of a graphic. When you open the lid there is a cut away and then the plastic holding center for the actual bottle. The bootle is shapped like a plump apple and filled with deliciously purple fluid. It looks lavendar if you leave it in front of a light service and violet when you leave it in the dark. The spray is sent out from an atomizer cleverly located in the "stem" of the apple. Any woman who has a healthy respect for ornate perfume bottles is going to love this presentation! Any woman who wants a unique scent will love the fragrance!

Funny story: I saw the wickedly awesome ad on Lolita Lempicka (the one with the fairy) on youtube and read/heard many raving reviews about the uniqueness of this scent, so I thought this must be the scent for me. I went ahead and bought a sample and hated it when I first use it. I thought it was the worst thing invented and wanted to vomit. Somehow... after months of not smelling this, I tried it once more and this time fell in love with its unique powdery sweetness. Maybe by then my nose has gotten used  to so many types of perfumes that this isn't really that strong to me anymore. Anyhoo, I got the beautiful fairy-tale apple bottle and it has been a staple in my fragrance closet for almost a year now. If Pan's Labyrinth had a "scent"track, Lolita Lempicka would definitely be it. There is an innocent sweet note denoted by the licorice and vanilla that's somehow uniquely and perfectly well-juxtaposed with the darker feel of the tonka bean and powdery musk. It's a magical combination you have to smell to believe.

Definitley NOT my type of scent.  It goes on very heavily, in my opinion, to the point of being overwhelming no matter how little you use.  The scent is really strong, and "perfume-y", kind of a blend of floral and a little spice that is sharp and kind of chemically, without landing on any one note. It seemed to me like the type of perfume that gives people headaches--lasting a really long time and lingering all over the place anywhere you go.  I tried using tiny amounts, but still it was just too unpleasant and overbearing for me to take. I realize perfume is a highly personalized thing, though, so it might be the perfect scent for someone else.  I tend to think the best perfumes are those that don't stand out too much--they should only be noticable up close and not take over the room when you walk in.  For me, Lolita Lempicka's Eau de Parfum did not meet these standards, and so it's not one I'd choose to use again.

What first drew me to this perfume, on my mothers perfume tray, was the bottle. You have to love this bottle! I was pretty young, not even a teenager, but this pretty, purple and gold, apple shaped bottle was mesmerizing. And then I smelled it. This wasn't perfume. This smelled like candy! So sweet! My mother gave me a tiny sample bottle that she had, that was a miniature of the original bottle, and I still have it somewhere. Many years later, I was in a perfume store and realized that this perfume still exists. And even better, I still loved it! Yes, it's a very, very sweet scent, but even though I was drawn to it as a child, don't be mistaken, this is definitely a perfume to be worn by a woman.  While I'm not sure I could pull off wearing this as a signature scent, I love having it around because it's such a unique and playful scent. I've yet to find another perfume that reminds me of it, and I think that's a good thing.

This is one of the best fragrances I own. When I first smelled it years ago I thought it was pretty and soft and could be worn every day. The price was a bit much at first but I vowed to keep checking back at various retailers until I could find it at a marked down price which I did this last winter after Christmas. I alternate scents between about 30 so I could easily wear something different each day but prefer to wear the Lolita Lempicka at least 3 times a week. Whether you wear this to a party, dinner or even at work you're sure to turn heads because it's not too strong or loud and contains some of the softer notes like violet and vanilla that give it just the right amount of sexiness. It's feminine lasting scent is sure to produce compliments. From time to time I'll find something that can represent the soft sexy side of me but I'd have to call this the winner hands down. It has become my new signature scent and I'm sure it will be for years to come.

**Lolita Lempicka Eau De Parfum Spray **is one of my favorite scents.  i first became aware of it while snooping through my sister's perfumes (one of our favorite things to do snaoop the others perfume)  She had purchased hers at Nordstroms.  there is no Nordstoms near me and I searched local stores to no avail.  I finally gor on line and was able to purchase **Lolita Lempicka Eau De Parfum Spray **at Scents and Scentsabilities at a great price.  The perfume is very woodsy and exotic smelling.  It is very long lasting and will last the entire day.  What I like best, is that it is not a common scent.  it becomes a signature scent.  men love it.  I also purchased the body lotion as I love layering scents.  the lotion layered with the perfume is excellent.  the lotion is a lovely purple color that goes great side by side with the purple **Lolita Lempicka Eau De Parfum Spray **bottle.  They look very classy on the dresser or on shelves in the bathroom.  they both have an air of mystique.  I think the scent has layers of vanilla and possibly anise or a liquorice scent.  I think this is worth every penny that i paid for it.

I love this fragrance! Love Love Love Lolita Lempicka! I first got introduced to this scent with a conversation I had with a male friend. He told me if he smelled that fragrance on a woman, it drove him wild. I had never even heard of this scent, so I had to see what all the fuss was about. I went to my nearest Nordstrom's to smell it. The saleslady informed me the scent is derived from licorice-INTERESTING! It has a deep musky scent, that is intimidating at first. But underneath it, it has a sweet vanilla smell,which has always been a favorite of mine. It's musky component keeps the scent on ALL DAY. You will smell it on you throughout the day which is a plus! It is distinct, no other perfume smells like it. I've been places and have said,"You're wearing Lolita" and vice versa. Another plus with this fragrance is the beautiful bottle that it comes with! It comes in a purple shaped apple.
