I love these speakers. I was looking for a smaller set that didn't cost that much but yet preformed big. I am very happy with these. I like how I can plug them into my phone, computer, or TV. Ease of Use Chords are a little shorter than what I was wanting but I make it work. Durability The little speakers don't seem to be made that well but the amp seems sturdy enough. Design Sleep up to date design. Not an eye sore by any means.

I was in the market for a new pair of speakers to be used in our computer in the kitchen for casual use and the casual video watching. I needed something that was small and wasn't necessarily loud but at the same time have decent sound quality and have at least some bass. Then comes the X230. I've used the X series before , the X-540 so I know this product would not disapoint. The subwoofer is nice and strong. It does fairly well for speakers in this range. Of course, this can not compare to those huge thx certified speakers but these are really good for the price. The speakers are alright, a little "high" pitched but once the subwoofer is turned up, it matches well. Music sounds great and sounds with a good bass you can really feel it. They claim that the use of dual speakers have some special sound function that makes things sound better but I really can't tell the difference at all. It may just be a gimmick. Overall, love the speakrs and the volume control module. Very convenient!

You cannot go wrong with these speakers. For 20 bucks you get a very durable, sturdy and good looking speaker set that works very very well. You will not believe how good your songs will sound on this machine. I also love the face that even for that little a price you get the different sub woofer which works so well. I use it to hook it up to my laptop and I just enjoy my music so much. I also use it to hook it up to my tv so I can watch some movies on the tv. The bass is the best on these speakers and you would love it and there is no way you will regret this buy. I also use my ipod and play music through these speakers which just sound so good that you will not believe how cheap these speakers are. Trust me even though they look small and aren't one of those fancy speakers this will blast out music for you and keep everyone happy in your party when you put your tunes on and hear it through the speakers. Great buy for me trust me on this one you will hear it once and be amazed.

At first glance, these speakers look weak and minuscule. However, that is not the case. These things give you a lot of BANG for your buck. Literally, bang. I turn these things up half way and they are thumping. I am constantly being told by my neighbors too turn down the volume. Although these aren't surround sound speakers, they definitely a considerable set if your just looking for a replacement from the crappy integrated television speakers. I use these for my TV, desktop, laptop, ipod, phone, whatever. The sound quality is amazing for the tiny price I paid. The speakers have a fabric-like cover to prevent the accumulation of dust on the speakers and they are also removable for cleaning. Another plus is that there is a headphone jack directly on the speaker. So, if you have your desktop under a table and your speakers are on the table then you wouldn't have to connect your headphones directly to your desktop and instead you could connect it through these speakers.
