Logitech S150 USB Speakers are nice!

5

I needed new speakers after the knob on my old speakers broke off. They still worked but I just got sick of the knob falling off and having to put it back on. I was surprised how small these speakers were but I was even more surprised at how nice they sounded. They have no knobs just 3 little If you're looking for speakers that are affordable, small and easy to use you will love these. They are very simple plug and play nothing to figure out. Just plug them in and the computer will recognize them and install. They are not real powerful so if you're looking for major booming loud sounds you will be disappointed. They do the job they were meant to do which is to let you listen to music or videos and have a good strong sound. With a usb you can use these for laptops or desktops, and use only one cord so less clutter, and the speakers shut off when you shut down your computer. There is a volume up and down button and the middle button will mute the speakers, which is a nice feature. Good value for the money you can't go wrong with these.I think you would be happy with the sound on these small but powerful speakers. I have had these for three months and so far so good!! Sound Quality Pretty good if your just looking for sound so you can watch videos and listen to music. Ease of Use Very simple, plug and play, volume control and mute are on the front right speaker. Durability These have been dropped numerous times and still work like their new. There are no nobs to fall of either.

Logitech S150 greatest value for speakers

I bought these speakers about during my freshman year of college, and for the money I spent on them they are far and beyond the best speakers that I have ever used for the price I paid. I love the clear sound quality and the reasonable bass that comes with it. Whether for movies or music or video games, the sound quality is almost flawless and the max volume is great for when I want to drown out my roommates or for some mad raving!! My only cons are that there are many cords that have to plug into many holes and that when I plug headphones directly into the port on the volume knob there is no way to adjust the volume on the speakers themselves. This is only an issue when I play PS3 as I have to adjust the sound in game which can be time consuming. Other than that I would never buy another set of speakers unless someone I found some money on the streets to get professional equipment, which I believe these could easily compete with for what they cost.

It worths the money

I picked up this one after doing a lot of research in both stores and online. Basically I was looking for a pair of compact speakers for my wife's laptop. I checked Sony, Bose, Logitech and some other brands. Eventually I chose this one. There are several reasons. Number one is the size. It's so compact that you can easily take to anywhere you want. But at the same time, the sound quality of this speaker is much better than that comes with the laptop. We use this one while we have a internet call with our friends, and everyone in the room can hear the talk clearly. We also like the style of this cute pair, and it matches with our laptop. It's light. The price of this pair is very good, as we got a bargain from our local best buy which happened to do the clearance sale. As of now, I still can't find anything bad to this pair. I want to say Logitech not only builds the best mouse, but also it offers the best compact computer speaker.

My honey and I like to watch DVDs on our laptop when we go on vacation.  You can't get hotels all that often that have a DVD player, and you can't rely on them having one, so we just plan on using our laptop.  Which usually works out pretty well.  However, the sound is just a little hard to hear sometimes.  So, we wanted a small speaker we could hook up to our laptop.  That's when I read the reviews on the Logitech S150 2 Speakers, and decided to give them a try.  They work great, the sound is almost as awesome as my little boise speakers at the house.  I like that they are small, and we can travel with them.  Also, they are just plug and play.  Whether it's my laptop or her laptop, you just plug it in, the computer senses them almost immediately, and you're ready to rock and roll. But, the best part of it all?  These guys are cheap, and easy to get (any chain store).  So, if you happen to forget a set in the hotel...you aren't out a whole lot!

I bought these speakers because they were Logitech and cheap. I needed these as an alternative for my headset, in the case that I want to show a bunch of people a video or something of that nature. I saw the Logitech name branch and thought that I couldn't go wrong buying these. I was only partially correct with that. It does project sound quite well, but at times I can go very statically or become completely mute. In order to fix this I have to plug and unplug the usb plug a couple times. It gets annoying after a while, but it was cheap so I didn't really expect much. I've only had this product for less than three years and the warranty on it is not applicable anymore. All the problems that I am facing could be the result of a defective model, but I'm a little disappointed in it. I'm sure others have better luck with the product, but I'm going to not recommend buying this product and encourage others to spend a little more for a better product.

My family has a shared desktop computer which used to be my little brother's main computer so we had some nice speakers set up with it. When he got his laptop and retreated to his room so did the speakers. So I was left with a dilemma: leave the computer that was only used occasionally without sound, or fork out the cash for another set of speakers. When I found these speakers it seemed like a nice middle ground. Not too expensive, not too fancy, but decent, based on the reviews. So the question was, was the quality decent? Yes. Not amazing, but good enough. Setting it up was simple and the speakers are very small and unobtrusive. There isn't a lot of space by our desktop, but these speakers sit neatly on each side of the monitor, and I find the cables not to be too unmanageable. There are two simple up/down volume control buttons which never get pressed but could easily if the need ever arose. Sometimes I use the speakers to play music and it's not great but beats my laptop speakers. Overall I would recommend these if you want something decent and inexpensive.

Get the job done quite nicely

These are great entry level speakers for either the home or the office. They produce some great sound, though they don't have the dynamic power to really blast it. I like Logitec because they usually have a pretty stripped down interface and create some good sound. If you are looking for speakers, check these out. The cords aren't too long, so they won't stretch across the room and give you a lot of flexibility so that's something to consider. I'd recommend checking these out beforehand so that you know how far they'll stretch and what they are capable of. But these are good speakers that create good sound and are perfect for families and offices. Hardcore gamers should probably steer clear of these because they aren't going to deliver the highest quality sound and dynamics, but they are definitely a good option for the rest of us. Also, because of their price you aren't going to be out too much once you buy them.

Nice set of speakers

The Logitech S150 USB speakers are a great quality.  If you are looking for a low cost set of speakers that work well, try these out.  I like them because there is not a separate power cord.  It powers through the USB port and so it is very convenient.  I use them for my laptop and they are nice to take with me on the go, also.  There are a few places online where I can't get it as loud as I want, but for the most part they are plenty loud, and I have to turn the volume down rather than up.  I like to listen to Pandora with them, and that is definitely loud enough.  Not only that, they get loud without background static (at least that I can tell--if you're an audio guru, who knows?).  I also watch shows online using these speakers, and they've worked very well for that also.  They are durable--I take them with me in my laptop bag and they keep working just fine.  For the cost, these are some great speakers--try them out!!

This is a great little set of speakers!!! They are wonderful! My kids have dropped these and they are still working. The grate on top of this has popped off again and again and I just pop it back on and they keep working! The only thing I don't like is this comes with a lot of cords. There is a cord for the labtop, a cord for connecting them together, and a cord for the wall. I have a mess of cords! A little light comes on when you turn them on and off, it makes a click so you know by the sound that it is on or off. The logo is on the front. They are black which is very nice cuz they don't scuff even with all the falls they have taken. The sound is very loud. I like that a lot! It is great to be able to listen from a great distance! These are very durable and a lot of fun to use. They would be great for a child or a grand parent because they are so very simple. I enjoy these a lot and enjoy them. I would by them again!
