GREAT mouse for productivity

5

I originally bought this mouse for gaming, however, it was not as responsive as the other gaming mice. I kept it for a little longer just to play with it and found that the customization options on this mouse hardware is limitless. With almost any software, the mouse can be custom set. The logitech software that allows customization works seamlessly with the mouse flawlessly.  The mouse is also rechargable so you never have to worry about buying batteries again! Also, the receiver for the mouse is the same size as a usb flash drive, unlike bulky receiver units of Microsoft's mice. The battery life of this mouse depends on use, however, typically lasts two+ weeks without having to recharge. In addition, Logitech includes a handy charging cradle so when you do need to charge, just drop it in the cradle. Setting up the mouse is also a breeze. With included tutorial and instructions, this mouse can be used by any computer user regardless of level in computer knowledge. Great product, however a bit expensive.

Great battery

This is the forst cordless mouse I have ever owned and it was worth the wait. The size is perfect for me, if you have small hands it might feel kind of bulky. I have always had good luck with Logitech products and this is no different. Great software, easy to setup and customize. Trust me once you get used to all those buttons you will not know what to do when you get stuck with a regular mouse. The thing that concerned me the most was the battery life and what happen when it starts to die. First off the battery life between charges is incredible. I'm on my computer at least three to four hours a day, and I can go a week between recharges. Second in the system tray is a battery monitor, you mouse over and it gives you the battery condition. If it get seriously low, throw it in the cradle for a few minutes. that will get you enough of a charge to get you to a good stopping point. I never actually timed how long it takes to fully charge, but it seems like I put it in the cradle, come back an hour later and its topped off. I would highly recommend this mouse for the average user. I am not speaking as a gamer, just a surfer.

My favorite mouse of all time

The Logitech MX Revolution has been the best mouse i've ever owned.  I am very pleased with mine.  I was hesitant to buy it because of its high price but was lucky enough to receive it as a gift so that solved my problem! The MX is really ergonomic (for right handed people anyway).  It fits perfectly in my fairly large hands.  It also has some heft to it which makes it feel much less like a toy and helps with the accuracy.  I am using it on a Steel Series I3(?) glass mousepad and it tracks very well.  The button placement on the mouse is perfect and the rubberized grips on the side are a nice touch.  The Click to freespin option of the scroll wheel is something I don't think I can ever live without after having it and the rocker on the side is actually useful when you have a lot of windows onscreen. My only complaint with the mouse is that the receiver seems to bug out once in awhile and the mouse doesn't really track well.  If I unplug and reinsert the USB dongle, it seems to clear up after that.
