I bought this mouse in January and I have got to say it is one of the best laptop mice I have ever used. The new nano receiver that it comes with makes it possible to just plug it in a usb port on your laptop and forget about it. There is no pairing issues, everything is just plug and play, although you can install software to customize the buttons to your liking just like any other mice. I tested this mouse on a friends glass coffee table and it worked great. The receiver can also be used to connect different Logitech devices as well to the same one.   The battery life on this mouse is amazing, I have been using the same battery that the mouse came with for the past 5 months and haven't needed to change it yet. The bottom of the mouse has a on/off switch which also acts as a protection device for the sensor when the mouse is off. The only con that I have about this mouse is that it is a little bit on the small side (although most notebook mice are), taking that into account this is a great mice for people with smaller hands and/or people that use the claw grip, the mouse is not big enough to use as a palm grip device. That is the only complaint I have, everything else about this mouse is great. 5/5 stars.

This wireless laptop mouse is my best performing mouse I have ever used. The best part of this mouse is the relatively new Darkfield technology that they use for tracking all sorts of surfaces. I have not yet encountered a surface that this mouse does not work on but I don't try to look for crazy surfaces to test this mouse on. I have not tried this on a solid glass surface, but I will say that I have tried it on glossy marble tabletop surfaces that would have caused my previous laser and optical mice to lose tracking accuracy. The results were more than satisfying. The mouse itself is not too small or too large in physical dimensions. The mouse should work for both right handed and left handed people, but the device has the forward/back buttons designed for right handed people. The unifying wireless receiver is useful for people who have other supported Logitech wireless products that they want to interface with the same laptop. The wireless receiver is very small which is very different than the typical Microsoft wireless device receivers. I do not use the Logitech software so I can not comment on its usefulness.

I purchased this mouse to see if it really works on virtually any surface as Logitech advertises, and they are right, well... almost.  I have a glass desk and like the clean look of an uncluttered surface so I was looking to remove the mouse pad. But by doing so, it would render my optical and laser mouse useless as they do not track on glass or reflective surfaces.  So I abandoned my dreams and hopes until Logitech engineered this wonderful technology dubbed "Darkfield Laser Technology".  It sounded too good to be true but I had to satisfy my curiosity and my attempt at my dream work surface.  Well, they weren't lying.  It works on the glass.  Say good bye to my mouse, and hello to my beautiful desk with mothing more than a wireless keyboard, mouse and ultra slim LCD.  It also works on just about every surface except my bed sheets.  I imagine the uneven grooves created by folds in the sheets are too much for even this miracle mouse to handle.  I await your next mouse Logitech, that will hopefully work on  my bed.

This company just continues to put out great products one after the other. I have owned a number of Logitech products and would have to say they were/are all great and well worth the money. The MX mouse in particular is what I am currently using right now and have had it for quite some time. The size is great, compact and fits perfectly into your hand. It is very smooth and I never encounter problems with it registering with my computer as I move it around unlike some other mice I have used in the past. The use anywhere feature is not exclusive to this model, but it does stand true as I use it on both a mouse pad and on my desk, even sometimes on my bed! The cordless cabibility is great as it works perfectly from about 5 feet away and is still responsive as if it were on my desk. The fact it does use batteries is a minor drawback, but does not suck the life out of them that quickly, I just pop them out when I am not using them. I would recommend this mouse to anyone, especially those who travel and have laptops.

The title says it all. I love this mouse. Use it on my laptop all the time. It's so comfortable, and built so well. I feel like it will last me forever. Has two side buttons and a hyper scroll, very nice. Darkfield laser, unifying reciever. Everything about this mouse is just best in class. It's low profile, so doesn't hurt your wrist as much as some mice, and it's tiny. With that said those with larger hands might want to look elsewhere. I have pretty small hands for a man, so you guys with monster fingers might have some trouble. Battery life is mediocre, but acceptable. I strongly recommended buying some rechargable batteries because you will be going through them a lot. Even if you take advantage of the on off slider underneath. It's expensive, but well worth it, unlike the performance mouse (IMO). I think this one has a 3 year warranty, and logitech customer service is the best out there. If you use your notebook a lot like me, you need this mouse.

After years of renovation of the mouse for mobile warriors, Logitech has done it again. The darkfield tracking technology has proven to be not just a marketing hype. Using it on a desk with reflective glaze coating still can perform flawlessly. I have owned several Logitech mices before this one. The coating on the mouse seems to be more long lasting and not as easy attract dust and scratches than the previous generations. The placing of the forward and the back button are just right comparing to VX nano, I just had hoped the MX Anywhere can include a travel pouch like the VX nano does. Due to the new tracking technology, it seems to draws battery quicker than its competitors, some may complain it uses two AA batteries which resulting in the mouse to weigh more. I thought the center of gravity placement is just right. It won't give you the uncomfortness after extend usage. Overall, I would recommend this mouse to any mobile warriors needing a portable tracking solution while on the road.

I love this mouse.  It is a little heavier than the similar VX mouse, but fits just as comfortably in the hand and works just as smoothly.  I like that I can use this mouse on my glass table without having to put a piece of paper underneath like I had to with the VX mouse.  I like the nano USB unifying reciever, and I also like the handy mesh pouch that it comes with for transporting.  I've had it for two months running on one battery, I never turn it off (I think it sleeps on its own), and I haven't had to replace them yet.  I also like the scroll feature where you can switch between the clickly feeling scroll for more control, or the fast, unimpeded scroll for quick scrolling.

Yes... some people can come up with some ridiculous scenarios where the mouse would not work, but for me, anywhere I've needed it, it's worked great!! Especially on glass. At first, I was more used to the VX revolution moues which is more ergonomic and for that reason didn't like the MX anywhere, but after using it a while, especially when I was using it on glass, I've grown accustomed to it and found it to be very responsive and now prefer it. You can either run it with 1 or 2 batteries, which is nice to just have that option. I like my mouse to be heavier so I always run it with 2. The life of the mouse lasts pretty long when running it this way. The responsiveness is very good and I like the small footprint of the dongle. Retail price of the mouse is pretty steep, but I've seen several occassions where it's gone down in price to make it affordable, although a stlil a bit expensive considering it's just a mouse.

The Logitech Anywhere Mouse MX is one of the best portable mouses you can buy. It is a little more expensive than other mouses out there, but the quality makes it worth it. Logitech has an excellent reputation for customer service, and I have personally always found there products that be very well made. The Logitech Anywhere Mouse MX has two  buttons on the side near your thumb, and a button near the scroll wheel. These buttons are all customizable with the included Logitech software. The scroll wheel itself is not a button, but pushing it toggles it between click scrolling, and momentum scrolling. This is a mechanical button, and the scroll wheel either physically clicks or spins freely. I especially like the USB receiever with is the Logitech unifying type. It is very low profile, and can be used with other Logitech devices. The mouse can be used with either one or two batteries, and has had very good baattery life overall.

Oh yeah. This is a HECK of a good mouse for a laptop or such. 5 buttons, logitechs funny 2-mode scrollwheel... just big enough you can grip it reasonably... Good shape too considering its size. Decent battery life--though considering it uses 2 AA not amazing. But thats all just the candy that makes it a well rounded device. Its real main feature is the darkfield tracking laser... Which makes it work on ~almost~ everything... I mean seriously: Shag Carpet Peoples heads Glass Screens Odd desk surfaces Cloth Most paper... Though I have run into issues with some graph and lined paper... Most works. Sensitvity and acuraccy are also great. Though the range of the micro-adapter could be a little better. Then again, TINY adapter. What do ya expect. Seriosuly, you can leave it on your laptop or tablet. Only real downside of this thing is the price, it tends to hang a bit high for what is really a general use mouse with extra surface-ruggity... I got mine as a replacement...
