Logitech MK700

I purchased the Logitech MK700 about six months ago. I got it during a sale so I paid a very reasonable price for it. I have been very impressed with the both the keyboard and mouse. The keyboard is very comfortable and easy to type on.It also provides media controls and buttons to go to your email, homepage, search engine and many other things. These buttons are very easy to use. I personally like the fact that the keyboard has a button to eject the computers disc drive and a calculator button that automatically brings up the calculator in Windows. The mouse is also very good. In fact I like the mouse better than the keyboard. It has a good feel and is very responsive. There is a button on the bottom of the mouse that allows you to adjust the resistance of the scroll wheel on the mouse. This allows you to adjust it to your individual preference very easily. Both the Keyboard and the mouse have excellent battery life and wireless range. I could not be happier with the Logitch MK700.

This Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse are the best!

When I replaced my old computor last fall, I felt that I needed to also replace my older Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse.  I was replacing it with a newer and more modern wireless Logitech model with all the bells and whistles.  Longer lasting batteries with On/Off switches on both the keboard and mouse, Forward/Back internet keys, Sideshift on the Scroll Wheel, and new laser performance.  The performance and quality of this new equipment has exceeded my expectations.  You can depend on Logitech to provide Quality and Value in their products.

Logitech MK700 is a solid combo for the price

I purchased this keyboard/mouse combo to replace the corded keyboard/mouse combo that came with my PC.  I was tired of cordes getting tangled up in everything, so I sought an alternative solution.  The requirements were that it had to be something other than an IR sensor.  I didn't want to have to mess with line of sight, so that was a major factor.  The wheel also needed to have the option to have a "ridge" feel to it.  I've tried the smooth scrolling ones, and just haven't gotten used to the feel.  This one has both, and it's just a simple switch to toggle back and forth.  The battery life is outstanding on this!  Even with constant use, the batteries last a very long time.  The feel of the keyboard is technically not "ergonomic", but it's comfortable none the less.  The mouse feels great, though it's possible to accidentally bump the back button on the left side if you aren't careful.  I've gotten used to it, but some haven't.  Overall, this is a solid combo.

Excellent Wireless Combo

5

i was using an old wireless keyboard that started to need battery recharges every few days for the mouse which became very bothersome and annoying because i use the old combo for a home theater pc setup and recharging the mouse is inconvenient. my previous keyboard and mouse didn't use AA or AAA batteries but required recharges to be done using the little docks that come with it. in the past i didn't like using AA batteries in mice because they just drained too quickly and required me to purchase more batteris, this keyboard and mouse, however, seem to last forever! the mouse and keyboard have an on off button so you can even prolong the battery life that much more by switching them off if you know you won't be using them frequently. in the setpoint software it literally says 360 plus days until battery will be depleted. the keyboard has numerous shorcut keys, great feel, sleek, accurate, and has great reception from 10 ft away. Great combo!

Logitech keyboard & mouse rocks! But letters on keys come off.

Love this product(s).  They are very useful and work great.  Have a great wristpad attached to the keyboard and keys are quiet and smaller in depth, like a laptops, which i love.  The mouse works great too.  However, the letters on the keys are starting to wear off after only a couple of months (3 months to be exact).  Two of the keys, not just one, has half a letter missing already.  This is used as a work keyboard, so that maybe because of more use, but it shouldn't be coming off just yet.  Anyway, I would still buy this product again.  Mainly because I know where my keys are regardless of the print on them.  The product is still recommendable. :-) On another note, buying anything black means dust looks terrible on it.  So, buy one of those air duster canisters for electronics and you're good to go.  It will help keep your workspace looking clean too.  Still, all in all, logitech and this keyboard and mouse withstand the hype and its a great deal!

Comfortable and effective

When I was looking for a good keyboard and mouse to use for my new computer, I narrowed it down to either the MK 700 or the Cordless Wave Pro. After feeling out both of them myself, I came to the conclusion that the MK 700 is better, at least for me. I just couldn't get used to the wavey shape of the keys on the Wave Pro. The MK 700 is a great purchase if you're looking for a wireless keyboard and mouse. I was afraid of interference or an input lag because it's wireless, but it runs on a 2.4 GHz 128-bit AES encryption so there are no issues. Battery life is also not a problem and the two are still displaying full charges after a few months of use. I don't even turn them off since they have a built-in power save feature. The mouse is responsive, and has a neat feature where you can have the scroll bar either click or run frictionless. There's a little switch on the bottom where you can choose which you prefer, though I usually stick with the frictionless. It also has a forward and back button that's conveniently placed so it doesn't get in the way, but it's intuitively reachable. There's a search button on top, but I reprogrammed it to mimic F5 so I could refresh web pages, which is a nice touch. The keyboard is comfortable and the keys feel clicky and nice under the fingers. The cushioned palm pad isn't removable and is built in to the keyboard, so be aware of this if you were planning on using a seperate cushion. I never use the media keys, but they're there if you want. I highly recommend this to those of you who are looking for a nice keyboard and mouse instead of something cheap.
