great wireless keyboard for less

By

from Bellflower, CA

Comments about Logitech K340 Keyboard:

I purchased this keyboard at staples thinking ok this is just another wireless keyboard, but no this thing actually is really nice with a small form factor. I dont believe I have anything bad to say about this keyboard as windows XP / windows 7 Even macintosh recognize this thing on a fly. Funny note is that on the box itself does not say anything about this keyboard supporting mactintosh, but let me tell you it does :). This comes with a universal wireless dongle which says it can control the mouse too if you get one. I haven't tried this out but if it works that would be a great thing. This comes with 2 AA Batteries so you dont have to buy any. And boasts the overall battery life is 2+ days. The price of the keyboard was perfect with mutli rebates it ended up being like 10.00 I am very impressed with the overall setup. Driverless requires no real installation to actually start using the keyboard. The only con is this is not backlit :( but then again for that price i would imagine it would cost alot more.

Logitech K340: A Nano Unification

By

from Berkeley, CA

Comments about Logitech K340 Keyboard:

The unifying nano-receiver series from Logitech is best when combining multiple devices as it should only consume one USB port and for portable devices (such as laptops and netbooks), port availability is a limited real estate. The Logitech K340 that I personally use is coupled with its nano-receiver sister the M505 wireless mouse. The keyboard itself is very low profile and is rather comfortable to type on. Typing on this device for extended periods of time could quite possibly be uncomfortable as it does not employ a nice ergonomic design. However, the ability to move it around (since it's cordless) and take it with you places (as it can fit into most backpacks) gives the end-user a new degree of flexibility. Furthermore, you don't have to break the bank for portability. There are definitely more portable devices out there but for the price, the Logitech K340 does the trick and with it's unifying nano-receiver, it's a no-brainer.

K340 Logitech Keyboard, Wonderful

By

from Chester, NY

Comments about Logitech K340 Keyboard:

I own this keyboard, use it every day, and absolutly love it. It's lightweight, but made of high quality plastic. The keys have a nice feel to them, although typing is far from quiet. Not loud, but not quiet. Either way it doesn't bother me, but may some people. The battery life is fantastic, I've been using mine almost a year on the included batteries. Usually the batteries that come with products are a little weaker than some brand new duracell or energiner, so I'd believe a fresh pair could easily last a few years.

Wireless signal gives no issues and I have no connection drops. Even from the other room!! This is great for gamers, as a single missed keystroke could mean death. Logitech fully supports this with thier top tier customer service and a warranty that exceeds most products. I've had very few issues with any of my logitech products, but when I do they take care of me and then some.

Get this keyboard, it's great!
