When my current keyboard started doing 'unexplained' things and basically flaking out on me, I needed a replacement that did'nt coat an arm and a leg, but worked well, did not have a lot of uneccessary features and had a nice feel to it. I don't want fancy, I just want a good solid 'workhorse' keyboard. I checked a lot of reviews and this Ligitech got a lot of good reviews for exactlty the features I was looking for. When it arrivede it required nothing more than plugging in the usb cable and it was instantly recognized - and just as quickly worked. The 'feel' of the keys is nice, it's got a 'solid' feel to it, it's not noisy, and I don't have to hit the keys hard. If you are looking for an inexpensive keyboard that does exactly what it says it will do, this one is an excellent choice. While it may not have as many features as some it has everything that I would need. I've gone through quite a few keyboards and I can recommend this one.
