Excellent keyboard!

Comments about Logitech Illuminated Keyboard - Corded(sold individuall):

This is by far the best keyboard I have ever owned.  I just love how the keys are soft plastic like.  I also like how the keys are very flat.  It allows me to type reallly fast.  Unlike most other keyboards, they are higher up and with lots of spaces in between. The keys are also very smooth.  The location of each of the keys are very neat.  The extra feathers with the function buttons is very neat.  It allows me to do a lot of shortcuts and speed up my task processes.  The other neat feature about this keyboard is the fact that it has a backlight.  This really helps espeically when I'm trying to type and it getes really dark.  The backlight feather also has three different brightness.  I also like that feature a lot.  The other great feature about this keyboard is that it is very think compared to other keyboard.  It so thin that it can easily carry and transport it to most places.  The style and overall layout of this keyboard is just beautiful.

Logitech Illuminated Keyboard--Great for daily use

By

from Brooklyn, NY

Comments about Logitech Illuminated Keyboard - Corded(sold individuall):

The Logitech Illuminated Keyboard is great to type on, especially at night when you have your lights off for whatever reason.  I usually enjoy sitting in the dark sometimes and due to the different levels of lighting with the illuminated keyboard, typing can be performed easily.  Also, the touch of the keys feel great.  Sort of feels like I'm typing on a laptop keyboard except the keys are full size and includes a numpad.  The hotkeys is shared with the F keys and there is a Fn key that allows you to use the hotkeys instead of the F keys.  But with the logitech drivers, you can actually switch it around so that hitting the F keys will activate the hotkeys without the need of the Fn key.

My only complaint is that it's not great for gaming.  I use this keyboard to play FPS and RTS games and sometimes it does not give the best response.  Occasionally, I find myself hitting the same key a few times just to get a response.  But then again, this keyboard is not a gaming keyboard.  I just wanted a all around keyboard that looks sleek and this certainly fits that.  It is super slim and looks really modern with a glass triming around the keyboard itself.  The palm rests are comfortable but not bulky so it doesn't get in the way.  Overall a great product!

Good keyboard, but not for fast typing

By

from East Brunswick, NJ

Comments about Logitech Illuminated Keyboard - Corded(sold individuall):

This is a beautiful looking keyboard with awesome build quality and backlit keys.  They are supposedly laser etched, whatever that means or whatever benefits that come with it.  It is a very slim keyboard and the backlight has 4 settings, low, med, high and off.  The feel of typing is very similar to that of a laptop.  This is a good and a bad thing.  Good is that it has very little travel, very little effort to actuate the keys, and it is very quiet.  The negatives is that you cannot type very fast with it.  I am a 100+ wpm typist and I find myself typing slightly slower (80-90 wpm), with more typos that normal.  I have difficulty feeling out the home row and find myself placing my hands at the wrong placement on the keyboard.  Fortunately, I do not have to type long term papers anymore so this is not as big of an issue as it would've been a few years ago.  I do not have the blocking issue when playing First Person Shooter games.
