This is my worst nightmare (and was a question in a game I recently played).

You can only eat at one restaurant for the rest of your life - which one do you choose?

Why?

That's an easy one for me. I like down-home country cooking and I like variety. Golden Corral does that for me. They not only have choices at any one sitting but change their choices every day. Now I'm not saying their food is the best out there, but for the circumstances you pose it will do nicely.

Right now, it would have to be Azteca, simply because of the vast menu, and my love for Mexican food.  Don't think I could survive without it.

I would have to say Piccadilly.  They have a good selection of high quality food, and you can get a balanced meal there.

Hands down, O'Charley's!!! I am allergic to wheat and gluten and O'Charley's has more on their menu that I can eat. My favorite dish is the Over-Loaded Potato Skins. I sometimes get their Cesar Salad or Steak.

TGIFridays.  They have lots of options for me, plus the best broccoli soup ever ;)  Restaurants like that serve so many different types of food that I could survive.

But yes, it would be a nightmare after awhile, there are just so many good restaurants out there!!

This reminds me of a recent news story. Some guy has eaten more then 20,000 Big Macs from McDonalds since the 1970s.  You think that many would have killed him by now!

If I had to eat at the same place every day perhaps some kind of buffet place would be good. At least the menu changes!  Although I love Italian food but there is such thing as ''too much of a good thing''.

It would have to be a Thai restaurant because not only do I love Thai food but I can have shrimp and lobster there as well:)

Why?

I would have to pick my favorite family owned place in Tennessee, The Farmer's Daughter. The menu changes as the seasons changes and their food is all you can eat and sooo good. We live in Florida and only eat there maybe twice a year but it is definitely my favorite and I know I could eat there for the rest of my life if I had to.

Cracker Barrel.  I LOVE that place and have been eating there for as long as I can remember.  Never get tired of it.  Best sweet tea,  outstanding chicken and dumplings, meatload, fried chicken and corn bread....sorry, gotta go....I hear a chicken and dumplings platter at Cracker Barrel calling my name!

I'm changing my answer after my latest review.... build me a Cheesecake Factory in MI and that is the one I would total be happy with!  They have so many options that even if I get sick of my favorite dish, I'd be able to try others :)

I like Cracker Barrel a lot too, and particularly enjoy the chicken and rice special on Saturdays. However, I don't really want to know about the "meatload"...

Red Lobster.  I love the cheddar biscuits and the crab alfredo and the lobster pizza and the . . . . . .

My first thought was the Olive Garden but their menu is kind of limited so I'd probably get tired of it quickly.  I agree that the buffet type restaurants would be best.  I've only been to the Golden Corral once but loved the biscuits and sweet butter (they are low-fat and low-calories, right?) and the many dishes to choose from.  So that is my final answer, although now I'm getting hungry thinking about those biscuits and sweet butter.

Caldonia's. Good BBQ, live music, cold beer. That's all I need!

And this lamp, I need this lamp. Good BBQ, live music, cold beer, and this lamp and that's all I need!

And this ashtray. I need this ashtray.....................

Coming from an Italian family, I am EXTREMELY picky about restaurant food.  I'd never select any fast food or chain restaurant.  I'd have a difficult time trying to even find an independent local restaurant that makes me happy on a continual basis.

If I had to select one, I'd pick an independent Italian place that my family has been visiting for 20+ years.  The second would be the gourmet deli that catered my wedding reception.

A lobster shack (as long as they had a bathroom).

A Mexican full- service restaurant with something better than Corona on tap and in bottles.

I don't have to pick a specific chain, do I? There are too many good Mexican resturants in my area to narrow down to just one.

Chili's Bar & Grill

They have a huge menu filled with all kinds of food types.  They have mexican, pasta, burgers, seafood, sandwiches, soups, salads and more.  I would have so many different things to choose from, I wouldn't get tired of eating there.

I would definitely choose Cracker Barrel.  It has a variety of foods; which I actually like and plenty of different menu items for me to choose from.  I don't get burn out on the selections.  Also, they offer breakfast, lunch and dinner and have extended hours.  It's also a relatively easy restaurant to locate while traveling.

There are 2 places that I won't eat at and that it KFC in Alburque N M and Chickasha Ok. It was terrible a waste of money. The food was uncooked, and tasted like it had been setting for awhile. The tea well that's another story. We told them about it and was laughed at. Never again will we eat at a KFC
