We found this book at the library, and after I read it with my kids, I had to buy our own copy. It is one of the most fun and entertaining picture books I've read in years! My two-year-old "reads" the book to herself, going through all the emotions of fear, anger, and panic that accompany little llama wondering why his momma isn't bringing him a drink of water. She gives the kisses at the end to make llama feel better. My 5-year-old preschooler can repeat the whole book and read it, and even my eight-year-old loves to read it with the family! It is a must-have for your children's book…

I purchased this book thru Scholastic as one of the featured books of the month. I was not disppointed at all. It is soooo cute and enjoyable. It's easy reading, great rhyming, shows excellent expressions, colorful and funny. What can I say... this was a great book. I don't know if it comes in a hardcover (I would assume it would), I purchased mine as a softcover. The little llama cracks me up and reminds me of my own children and their lack of patience.…
