Every day for two months, I would cry getting dressed because every pair of maternity pants I had would either look frumpy and make lines and bulges under my shirts or be uncomfortable. I just HATED to get dressed. My husband told me to go get new pants, but I couldn't see spending $100 for a pair of jeans I would only wear for a couple more months (I'll be honest: I don't spend $100 for jeans when I'm NOT pregnant!). I saw these at Target on a particularly frumpy-feeling day and cried again - because they felt SO GOOD! And when I modeled them for my husband, he said they were HOT. Ha ha ha! What pregnant woman doesn't want to hear that? They are cut in such a way that they are almost slimming but generous enough that my expanding thighs, butt and belly are not restricted in any way. They are stylish and the best part is the band. It is made out of spandex or lycra type material and is not some wide piece of elastic that is covered with cotton and capable of folding over or twisting inside the band. I haven't cried in a week (hmmm..since i bought the jeans...coincidence? I think not).
I wore a size 16 before becoming pregnant, but actually bought a size 14 in these because they do appear to run a little big. But they look like 10s! :)
I have recommended these jeans to all 3 of my friends that are pregnant.
