Livestrong.com is a wonderful website that is designed to provide users with information and support related to diet, nutrition, fitness and health. MyPlate is a segment of this larger website that allows users to log daily calories or food intake and it sets you up for each person individually for their desired amount of weight loss or to sustain their current weight. It's a great website not only for the help in keeping track of my calories and overall food intake, it also helps me to stay motivated and provides me with support through an online community. There are tons of tips and lots of help you can get along the way in your health and fitness journey. It always helps to have support and others going through the same thing you are. Helps motivate you and keep you held accountable. This site is perfect for that. Ease of Use This site is user friendly and really helps you reach your diet and fitness goals. I love the amount of support it provides.

Livestrong is a multi-faceted website for those who wish to lead a more active lifestyle, eat healthier, and lose weight sustainably. It is especially helpful to me as I am able to track my calories as well as learn more about certain foods I didn't know were so unhealthy. I'm also a fan of pilates. Livestrong has a plethora of exercise videos, to include pilates, weight lifting, and general stretching techniques you can incorporate in your daily work routine. The website also offers forums and blogs, so there is a support base for those wanting to lose weight and/or improve their lifestyle. I also like to read informative articles, as well as lists that numerically rank the best or worst foods for you. Livestrong provides a handful of these. The website is great for anyone of any age group, and I have used it to diversify my exercises, cook new meals, and connect with people who share similar health goals. Livestrong also provides a Mobile App for those on the go.

Finding a website that will help you with your weight management journey can be a struggle, you need to find one that completely has everything that you want and offers a lot of benefits for you. Livestrong.com is a huge website that is full of so much information and has a lot of benefits to it. They have a program on there that is a tracker to track your calories, you put in your food and exercise and it calculates everything for you and then shows you graphs and all kinds of different break downs of the things you eat. They offer a lot of products to help you maintain or lose weight, trackers and scales and supplements, these are all at a great price and I ordered one of my pedometers off of here and it came in a really fast time and has been awesome and it even syncs up with this website and automatically records all of the steps that I have taken and how many calories I burn doing it. I can keep track of my weight and see how things are going on a graph over time and it has so many options and people full of knowledge that make it a great tool to have.

It has you enter your age, weight, height, etc. and then you can choose the amount of weight you wish to lose per week, or maintain if you want. Then you are able to keep track of what you eat each day, view fitness tips and information, different ideas for exercise, and the website has a great amount of community support as well. It is really well designed and has everything you could want for reaching your goals. It's motivating, fun and very simple to use! Anyone could benefit from using this site! Ease of Use Very easy to use for reaching your diet and fitness goals. It's user friendly and provides a great amount of support.

If you are on a weight loss journey, Livestrong.com's MyPlate is a must have resource for your diet arsenel. It is totally free and provides you with a daily calorie count amount based on the amount of pounds you want to lose per week. You get emails that provide support and there is also a great online community where you can share ideas, joys and frustrations. One of my favorite features is the food tracker. I am amazed at how many items are already existing in the tracker and how specific it was to brand names. It makes tracking your feed a breeze! It also forces me to be more accountable for every item I put in my mouth knowing that I need to write it down. It is also easy to reference during the day to see how many calories you have remaining. You can also use this for future meals. I often do cooking for the week on a Sunday and I can put food in the tracker to help plan what items I will have with which meals and which meals I want to have on which days. It also has a great tracker for exercise although sadly I do not use that one as much as I should. There are also extremely helpful and relevant articles on a variety of health topics. I've found useful information on milk (and what you should and shouldn't be drinking) and what the best greens are. Through the help of this site, I have already lost 7 pounds! If you are trying to lose weight or maintain a healthy lifestyle, do yourself a favor and sign up for this site! Ease of Use One thing I don't like is that many of the articles are the "click through" kind where each section of the article is a different page. I much prefer when sites have entire articles in one link.

Much needed support

I can't imagine who came up with the idea of Livestrong.com but I am so glad they did! There is so many ways to use this site to your advantage. Not only does this site help me keep track of my calories and overall food intake, it also helps me to stay motivated, provides me with support through an online community and tips for staying on or getting back on track. because there's always some one available to talk to or to offer support even when your family, friends and loved ones are unavailable or not supportive. There is also a wealth of information on what exercises work, what gear you will need and a whole lot more. The site is undoubtedly helpful even if you are not dieting.This site works for dieting or if you'd like to try to maintain a healthier lifestyle. The Livestrong community itself is very unique because members from all over share their experiences, successes and failures with you. There are plenty of people on the site to learn from and share with. I believe this site to be one of the best of it's kind.

Easy and free!

I found out about this site because I had to use the livestrong.com calorie counter site for a school assignment. I have kept using it, since then, because I find it to be a very useful tool for tracking what I eat. Their database has all kinds of brands and restaurant items for foods you eat all the time, as well as options for fresh fruit, vegetables, etc. that you prepare at home. The site makes it easy to customize your health plan based on your gender, age, current weight and amount you would like to lose per week. I'm not interested in losing too much weight, but I do like keeping track of what kinds of things I'm eating, and it makes it easy to see how much actual nutrition I'm getting from the food I am consuming. It's great that I can sign in either from my computer or from the smartphone app, so I can keep myself accountable no matter where I am. It's simple, convenient and FREE! I can't find a down-side.

The best way to count calories

I use livestrong.com every single day. I use the My Plate calorie counter to enter in all the food that I eat throughout the day as I eat it. It is so much easier than keeping a food journal! All you have to do is begin typing the first word of what you ate. This can be anything from a banana to a Wendy's hot and juicy double cheeseburger. It will give you the calories of the item you've chosen and you can pick if you ate a full serving, or half, etc... It gives you a running total of all your calories for the day on the upper right corner. Almost every single thing I eat is in their database. You can choose the option that they have verified or another option if you wish. I have only found a small handful of things that are not in the database, but I just enter those calories manually. This site also has a button you can click each time you drink a glass of water so that you can ensure you're drinking at least 8 glasses a day. You can enter in your workouts as well, and it will calculate how many calories you've burned. This is the BEST calorie counter I've found. Livestrong.com is so much more, though, it also has articles on health, nutrition, fitness, workouts, recipes, and so many other things. I love this website and use it daily.

Whenever I'm eating healthy, or trying to eat healthy, I visit livestrong.com to find some healthy eating and exercising tips as well as finding out the nutritional value of different food items. The website is easy to navigate, and it has really good articles. I like that the articles aren't too long, so they are really easy to read thru even if you only have a short time. I normally visit this site on my lunch break so I can get some healthy tips. There is also a fitness portion of the website that gives tips on workouts as well as information that explains some of the fitness trends and their positives and negatives. This is helpful when you are trying to create a new workout routine. You can also make an account on this website and track your calories. This is especially helpful if you are trying to lose weight or just watch what you are eating more closely. The whole food logging process is simple enough that it is not hard to enter your food daily into the website.

At first I thought that the website Livestrong.com would just have information on exercise and healthy eating. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that I was incorrect. Livestrong.com has a plethora of information about the human body. There are articles about almost every topic that exists in relation to health and humans. Livestrong.com has the typical information that I expected from a website that has been named after a famous athlete. There are articles about exercise, diet, and other components of a healthy lifestyle. In addition, you can find information about medications: what they are used for, what the side effects are, and how much should be taken (what the dosage is). Livestrong.com also has articles that talk about different health conditions, such a lupus, cancer, Crohn's Disease, and other medical conditions that are either temporary or chronic. In general, the website Livestrong.com has a vast database of information that is rich in knowledge but is explained in a simple enough way for the average person to be able to learn from and understand.
