I live with two picky cats that turn up their noses at many brands of dry cat foods , even the expensive ones . But they really seem to enjoy all the 9 Lives dry and wet cat foods out there . They always devour 9 Lives Essentials dry food - and that is what counts because it does not matter how " good" the food is if they leave it in the bowl to toss . 9 Lives Daily essentials is low in magnesium and high in protein and all the daily vitamins and minerals that my cats need for shiny coats and overall health . This cat food is one of the cheaper on the market which is good if you are on a budget .One of my cats has a sensitive stomach and vomits up some of the other brands - this one is an indoor cat that is picky , small and sensitive . This food has never made my cat sick to her sensitive tummy and she holds it down well and eats it quickly and sits at the bowl looking for more . As a picky eater , I am glad to find a cat food she will actually eat well and can hold down with no digestive issues . 9 Lives has sent me printouts before of all the percentages of magnesium, potassium , etc in all their lineup - their customer service is very good and the brand is one I trust as they have been around a long time . They make a quality cat food for a low price .

It is cat, family and vet recommended. I have three cats and one of which is 3 years old and is so picky she will eat nothing but 9 lives. I have tried all the special cat foods and even the fancy feast foods, but she will eat only 9 lives. 9 Lives has a varity of select foods that are full of flavor for any cats taste and packed with all the vitiams and nutrients that growing kitties need to become adult healthy cats. Feeding them healthy is a good way to show your cats how much you care. Trust me from experience, they will see your devotion and love for it and there is nothing more rewarding then a healthy purring cat in your lap.

I have been feeding my barn kitties 9 Lives Daily Essentials for a couple of years.  All of them are healthy and happy.  It provides all of the vitamins and just the right amount of protein that they need.  I even feed it to the littlest ones, pouring a bit of milk on it at first to soften it up.  I don't have to do that for long because although the food is crunchy, it isn't as hard as a rock like other brands. My babies like the flavor so much that I don't need to add canned food to make it  more palatable.  I also appreciate the fact that the price is very reasonable!  My "Morris" lookalike could be the spokescat for 9 Lives!

My neighbor and I  feed Nine Lives Daily Essentials dry cat food to her semi feral cat who spends a lot of time in my yard and eats at my back door. She now allows us to pet her and occasionally pick her up. We do manage to get her to the vet for regular shots and a check up. Although she stays outdoors by her own choice, her coat is beautiful and shiny. You would think from her appearance that Angel was a pampered indoor kitty. She was kept indoors following her operation to be spayed a couple of years ago after her kittens were weaned, but refused to enter the house again. Nine Lives seems to be keeping her VERY healthy in spite of her chosen outdoor life.
