Most HelpfulFor my son's first birthday he received the Little Tikes Children's Baby Tap-A-Tune Toy as a gift. From the moment we opened it, he absolutely loved it. A couple of years later when my second son was born, he inherited this toy and loved it just as much.

Most HelpfulYou don't find many toys that last anymore, but this toy has withstood my twins for 3 years now. They STILL enjoy it every now and then, even though it's more of an infant toy. Kids can pound til their heart is content and it will not break.
I also like that it has colors on it. When my kids were...
review »I am a mother of a set of fraternal twins. One beautiful boy and one beautiful girl. I have to say that when they were very little, they loved playing with the LIttle Tikes Tap a Toy. Of course I had to buy two of them! Anyway, I got these when they were able to sit up. They loved banging on the keys and hearing the sounds that came after. THe Tap a Toy would keep them entertained for about an hour. Which was wonderful! Even as they got older and started walking, they would return to the Tap a Toy. As they entered into their second year, I used the Tap A toy to start teaching them their colors....
review »The Little Tikes Tap A Tune Piano is made of durable red molded plastic with rounded corners. The top of the toy reselmbles a xylophone as it features four colored metal plates (blue, green, yellow and orange). The piano features four corresponding color keys that, when hit, strikes the inside of the plate to create a note. The keys are very easy to press. I enjoy the fact that this is not a complicated toy full of gadgets, lights and sirens. It's a classic toy that encourages the use of motor-skills and doesn't over stimulate. This is a very basic and straightforward toy. The...
review »I bought my daughter this toy when she was just a few months old. She wasn't able play with it then but I would sit her in my lap and press the keys. As she got older she began doing it herself. She's now 3 yrs old and loves it now, as much as she did when she began playing with it on her. I've found that this a durable toy. It has been dropped several times and even went down a flight of stairs but it keeps working just fine. I also like that it keeps her attention. Some toys she'll play with for just a minute or two but this one keeps so going. I also like that it allows her to explore her...
review »We bought the LIttle Tikes Childrens baby Tap A Tune piano for our son when he was a few months old. He is now 2 1/2 and still plays with it regularly. Who knew such a small toy had so many learning possibilities.
The piano can teach colors, sounds, rythyms, counting and shapes. The Tap a Tune piano taught my son his first set of colors and he learned to count with the keys too. I also liked the toy as for being a learning tool it also brought hours of fun to my son and even though it made noise it was not that noisey, as toys go! This is also one of the toys that my son and his friends fight...
review »If you are looking for a good toy for your little one you should check this one out . It is fun for everyone. Babies from ages 6-36 months can entertain themselves wonderfully with baby tap-a-tune-by little tikes . It's colors are great to get your little one interested and once they start making music who knows how far they'll go. Another great plus is that it is small enough to take anywhere that music is excepted , probably not the library :) but the lake or anywhere that your little one might need a toy.
They can really be themselves with this toy since it is very durable and easy to clean....
review »I got the Little tikes Tap a tune piano for my little girls first birthday! She started tapping away before we even got it out of the box! The keys are easy to push(or slam) and the piano as a whole is small enough for little hands to haul around! Although all thoughs "tinks and bings" may be annoying for mommy and daddy ( cause it is quite loud) its a great toy for your little one to practice making thier own little tunes on. My girl is now two and still gets it out here and there to bang away on. Also Little tikes products always seem to prove durable. I cant count how many times she has, dropped,...
review »I bought the Little Tykes Baby Tap a Tune Piano after my daughter (then 7 mo.) played with it at a neighbor's house and seemed to really like it. We recorded the first evening that she played with the toy on video. She hit the keys (one at a time and together) and then giggled and clapped her hands. We clapped our hands too. And then she started playing again, thrilled that she was making music. At nine months, this is a toy that our daughter still goes back to every day ... even if just for 10-15 minutes. We try to buy her things to play with that are creative. This piano is currently her...
review »I love for my children to be exposed to musical instruments! My daughter actually received this little piano as a gift on her first birthday. She is now two years old, and plays with it now more than ever! My eleven year old likes to play with is too. It is very durable, and it sunds nice too. It is not one of those annoying toys you can't wait to get rid of. I think this toy will be around our house for many years to come! I highly recommend this Tap-A-Tune toy! And it's made by Little Tykes, what more can I say?
