First of all, I must say you can never go wrong with Little Tykes. I have toys that my mom had when I was little that still looks brand new. Especially if they are kept out of direct sunlight. If in the sun, sometimes the color does fade, but other than that they are made great.
We bought this climber for our 10 month old last year. It was perfect size for her. She loved the swing. It went just at the right speed for her. And the slide was the perfect size, too. This summer she is almost 2 and it is still a good size. The swing is perfect size for her to climb in herself and swing. And she can climb up and down the "rock" like stairs just fine, too. Last summer the "rock" steps were a little hard. Regular steps would've made it easier, but this summer she loves them!!
It was a good price. We bought it at Toy R Us for about $120. It was well worth that. Two years of spring/summer enjoyment!!
The only complaint that I can think of is the strap on the swing is hard to loosen the buckle. I don't know if was just the one I have or if it is like that on all of them, but it was hard to tighten/loosen.
