It seems like lately my son has outgrown the toys he has.  He still loves books, but no longer has an interest in playing with his musical toys, or small, handheld toys.  I decided he is probably ready for a "big boy" toy and so I bought him the Little Tikes Little Champs Sports Center which has three different sports activities in one stationary play area.

Although the toys included in the Little Champs Sports Center are sports related, they are still age appropriate for my 14 month old because of the way they are designed.  The play station makes crowd noises and cheers, plays songs and includes...

It was my son's first birthday; we were on the hunt for something fun to give to him. However unusual it was for me to leave it to the last minute, we HAD to find something at the Babies R US now. The party was the next day and I needed to get preparations done for that as well.

That's when I saw it - a three-in-one sports center. It was on sale (bonus!) and seemed great for my active son. I grabbed it and headed home. This decision was one of the best I've ever made. When my son opened it, he wanted to play with it. Immediately.

My son got this for Christmas, even though he wasn't quite 9 months old. He liked it in the beginning and played with it, but now (at 12 months) all I do is listen to the crowd cheer. If he can't find a basketball, he'll put anything that will fit into the basket. The football used to be our favorite, but now it's less so. My son is trying to hit the baseball with the bat and lights up every time, though only once has he been able to make the ball move.
