i bought the Little Tikes 'highback toddler swing' from toysrus for my 14 month old son. the swing is good for ages upto 36months. in just about 4 months, the rope of the swing chipped off. my son is of average height and weight. since he was only 14 months old when we bought it, e would just sit on the swing cause he was scared if we even pushed a little harder. he is our only child, so no one was using the swing.i guess the rope was a little old or not of good quality.... now when i tried to get in touch with the little tikes - customer service to order another rope [which is not available as a replacement], they just want to insist that the rope cant give way so soon.i guess the Fisher Price ones are better

**when we moved into a past house.. they had a swing set in the back.  It had this swing.  well my little man was just under a year old and loved it!  He would giggle so much when I would push him.  it was so much fun for him.  I loved the high back for safety.  of course I'd still not push him too high.  But he felt safe in it.. he would laugh so hard!  I miss him in that swing.  he is now almost 6.  he loves regular swings now.  but I would recommend this swing to anyone with a baby.  its a great buy and very sturdy and great for summer fun!  I can't compare it to any other swing because that is the only baby swing i've had but i really like how it had a high back and it seemed pretty safe for me.  But still please don't leave your baby unattended!  like I said a great buy and I've seen the price on it and its not that bad either.  A great memory too .. my son loved it!  My other twin didn't but he wasn't a swing person and still isn't.  I think its the height thing.  **

This swing is one of the best gifts my daughter every received. We've spent hours laughing and just enjoying the outdoors together while she or her little brother sat in this swing. We were able to hang it safely and securely on our front porch. There is a safety belt that keeps little bitty ones secure in it. My baby boy was able to sit in it and loved it. He was safe with the strap and loved gently swinging. It was nice to be able to set him in it while his older sister played outside. My daughter is three now and doesn't want to outgrow this swing. It has a couple of quirks. One is that it swings crooked no matter what we do to adjust it. Also the little bars that hold the ropes in under the swing do not stay put. Even with that, I would say get a sing like this for your baby. The hearty laughs and time of relaxation while pushing your little one in the swing is so worth it. Days of enjoyment for a low price!

My two year old son has always loved to swing. When he was a tiny baby in his little infant swing he would start to fuss if the swing wasn't moving. I should have known right then that he would always like to swing. So now we have a swing set with a Little tikes High Back Toddler Swing. I think that I like it just as much as he does. The swinging really seems to relax him too. With the high back he has even fallen asleep in it because he was so comfortable. It will hold a tiny puddle of water in the seat if it rains. It is a small amout that could be wiped up easily with a hand towel or we just stick ours to the side where the slide is so that the swing is sitting sideways. It might get rained on but it does not puddle. I really like that it is very light weight and easy to get on and off of the swing set. I am really glad that we bought a Little Tikes High Back Toddler Swing it has been used time after time. A very good investment when you have little ones.

We should be getting our swing in the mail today for our 6-month old son! And so, you ask, why in the world is she doing a review for a product she doesn't even HAVE YET! :) My sister has the Little Tikes Toddler Swing for her two children. I gave it to her first-born daughter for her one year old birthday! It has been a HIT since DAY ONE!!!! At first the swing was hung on their front porch. And now it is hanging on a swing set in the back yard.  Her little people LAUGH as they play and swing. And when they are little, the swing just soothes and quiets...... I now have my own little guy and am so excited to be getting his in the mail!!!! Now we don't have to go to my sis's or the playground to swing! We are planning to put up TWO PLACES in our yard to attach the swing. It's super lightweight - so I think that'll work out great! I like that this swing is one molded piece  - not a lot of parts or hinges to break! :) Great product! - Which, by the way, I think is perfectly fine for babies too - as long as a watchful eye is kept! :)

I purchased this swing 5 yrs ago when my oldest daughter turned a year old and it has been used every year since then and it still works and almost looks as good as it did when i bought it, the coloring has never faded and the ropes holding it up are in great condition. My only drawback with this item is that the leg holes are just a tad too small, my kids shoes always got stuck when you tried to remove them from the swing and then you had to struggle to get them out

I loved this swing. I bought it shortly after I had my daughter and she is two years old now and she is still using it. It holds up to 40 pounds and is very sturdy. I used it a lot more before my daughter was walking, it greats for keeping there attention. I have since bought a swing set and it was perfect for that. Just make sure when you are putting the swing up that it is properly installed with eye bolts and all. I almost wished it came in more variety of colors but the primary colors are fine too. Also it was very reasonably priced as well. Now a days some toys are crazy priced. But this only ran me about forty bucks and like I said I have been using it for two years. It also holds up very well in the weather, I live in Florida and the sun can be brutal on outside toys but the swing has held up and has'ntfaded at all. I would definitely recommend this swing to friends and family. It's a great gift idea as well.

I bought the little tykes high back toddler swing for my son when he was about 6 months old. We placed it on our outside swing set and it works great. Easy to put up. I love that is was very simple (one peice of plastic), affordable, and sturdy. It even spent the winter out there and it still looks great. I would definitely recommend it.

My son had a great time with the Little Tikes High Back Toddler Swing for about a year; now that he's 3, though, he seems to think he's too big for it.  The swing was easy to hang, and is very sturdy.  It has remained outdoors this entire time through snow, ice, rain, and 100+ degree heat.  It has not cracked, and has even retained it's bright red color.  It's easy to maintain:  just spray it with a garden hose and turn upside down to drip dry.  Done.  It's a great swing, but best for younger toddlers.

This fisher-price high backed toddler swing is a perfect gift for a child who is interested in the outdoors. My step-son is two and adores going outside on a sunny day and swinging in his toddler swing. It is a great way for the two of us to sing songs or even try to count together. He loves the swing, and I think that any child who is interested in the outdoors would just love the fisher-price high backed toddler swing. It did take two of us to put it together in the sense of hanging it up for use. It was worth it in the long run!
