I wanted to get a slide for my 1 1/2 year old, and couldn't believe how expensive they were, for such a simple toy. I found this one very cheap and figured I'd give it a try. I can't believe how much my son loves to play to in and never tires of it. I definitely go tmy money's worth with this toy! We use it inside, and it is easy to clean. I think the slide is a little steep, but he has adjusted to it. Now that he wants to go down on his belly it worries me a little bit, but he seems to be fine with it. If the sides at the top of the slide were a little higher, that would be good as well, when he is trying to get into the sitting position from climbing up, sometimes it looks like he'll fall off the top, but hasn't yet, thank goodness. I am extremely happy with this purchase and from the amount of time he has used it, it was very worth it and it has stood up well and look forward to using it for a little longer with him and with my next one.

When we bought this for my son when he was 18 months he loved it. Now he is four but for whatever reason my daughter now 2 never really took to it. We mostly used it inside but have it outside right now and it still looks fine. My daughter plays with it every once in awhile.

  My little girls have plenty of toys and while they prefer those that offer visual stimulation along with sounds from their favorite television characters, they also like to change things up every now and then and enjoy toys that offer some physical activity. Rather than send them outside, I point them in the direction of a toy designed for an interior workout. It is the **Little Tikes Easy Store Jr. Play Slide**, a small, plastic slide for indoor fun. **Toy Commentary:** Little Tikes Easy Store Jr. Play Slide is a small slide made with plastic parts and a foldable ladder stem. The slide, when extended, features a seating area that is a little less than two feet from the ground. There are only two steps, making it easy to get to the top. The width of the slide is only about eighteen inches and the total length is about thirty- nine inches. These dimensions make it suitable only for toddlers and young children, aged one through four years. Little Tikes Easy Store Jr. Play Slide is a fun little toy that offers kids a break from the usual visual/audio stimulation provided by the bulk of children's toys. This slide is small, and thus it isn't practical for larger kids. But it is just right for children under the age of four and at least one of my little girls (two years old) enjoys entertaining herself with this toy. It took her a little bit of time to get used to this toy, and she was hesitant at first to try it out. The reason, of course, is because the climb, while short, is still a little scary to some children. There are no extended rails to grip and many little children shake a little bit as they attempt to steady themselves and take the plunge.  Besides the initial scare factor, there are some other things about this slide that could cause potential problems. One is the slipperiness of the slide itself. My little girl was shocked when she took her first trip down this slide. She didn't expect the plastic surface to be so slippery and she didn't realize how quickly the "ride" would end. She seemed to like it, but I would caution parents to place something soft at the end, for a safe landing. Kids go flying down the slide at a fast rate and while the slide is short, it is still lengthy enough that it could cause a banged- up head if the surface below isn't soft and cushiony. Little Tikes Easy Store Jr. Play Slide should be used on carpeting, in grass, or on some other soft but stable surface. Using a hard floor surface will not only increase the chance for an injury, it will also make the slide less stable. This is because the legs and the front of the slide do not offer any way to grip the floor. So, if the floor surface is smooth, the slide will easily move when kids use it. Again, this increases the chances for falling. Placing the slide on a carpet surface seems to be the best way for kids to use this toy. **Bottom Line Viewpoint:** Overall, Little Tikes Easy Store Jr. Play Slide is a fun product for little children, in spite of some of its risks. The key with this toy is to use it properly and to help kids along when they start to use it for the first time. It's portable, requires no assembly or batteries, and helps kids with physical activity and development of motor skills. It is a nice little toy to have around and it makes a good alternative to the bells and whistles so common with most modern forms of child entertainment.

  The Little Tikes Endless Adventures Easy Store Jr. Slide is a great buy. It is a very exciting first outdoor toy for the young ones and keeps them and their friends busy for hours. The price was not bad either, and it will last for at least 3 years. This slide does not take up too much room, therefore it will fit in any backyard. It is attractive looking and not too difficult to install. You can always add to your backyard gym once you get this slide, as Little Tikes sells several product that will match this product, e.g. a swing set or a sand box. This slide is easy to clean. You must install it on flat ground, however, otherwise it could be dangerous and wobble. Once the toddler grows out of this toy, it is not easy to store as it cannot be folded. This is a great slide for your toddler and should provide years of fun. I am really glad I bought it and recommend it to all my friends.

this is a good slide if you're buying for a younger toddler. once a child gets to be about 2 1/2, they will probably be too large to really have much fun with this. i like that it is lightweight and durable. we have had it outside in our backyard for a long time, in all kinds of weather, and the color has faded a bit in the sun but the slide itself is just as sturdy as it was when we first got it. keep in mind that your child will need supervision and probably a good deal of help in learning to use this slide. they really need to redesign this so that there is a little more room at the top of the steps for kids to maneuver themselves into a sitting position. maybe if they put handles at the sides at the top of the slide, it would make it a little easier for toddlers, too. but this is an issue i have seen with every brand, not just little tikes. little tikes is a good company - they have been around for  long time and their toys are made in the US and last forever.

When my wife and I first saw this product I was hesitant to purchase it.  Now, I am so happy that I decided to go back to the store and get it.  I don't think that the price gave me any reservations in whether or not to purchase the Little Tikes Slide.  I just didn't know if it would be worth having such a large toy cluttering up my back yard.  Nevertheless, I can say with confidence that getting this slide for my kids was totally worth it.  It is the very first thing they migrate to when we go out to the back yard.  My son, in particular, loves going up and down without any evidence of ever quitting.  I also like the fact that using the slide is helping him develop essential motor skills.  It is the very first thing he ever climbed with success.  Additionally, my kids have never fallen off.  So, I feel like its a safe toy for them to use.  I would recommend this toy to anyone with small children.

We love this little slide! Once again Little Tikes has produced another classic, well built, and fun toy for toddlers. We gave this slide to my nephew for his first birthday, and right away he was hooked. Because the slide is so small, even little ones can enjoy the thrill of sliding down the slide. It wasn't long before our little guy could master climbing the steps and sliding all by himself. He didn't slide the proper way for a long time though - he slid backwards. It was really cute to watch. :) If you have a little one, I would definitely recommend this little slide. It is very sturdy as are all Little Tikes toys, and it will provide hours of fun. It is small, so it won't take up a lot of room, and you won't have to worry too much about your little one getting hurt since it is small. Even if they fall off the slide, it's not far to the ground. Even older toddlers will have fun with this slide. My nephew is almost three and is still enjoying this slide (his 4 year old sister likes jumping off of it too :)).

Love it!  When kids come to play they are all drawn to it!  Unlike other toys, this one is played with almost daily which really makes it worth it!  I love having a toy in the play room that makes them active.  It is durable and safe!  I think they will have fun on this thing for years to come!  Both my 2 anfd 6 year olds love it!

My just turned three year old is already way too long for this toy slide.  She is a climber and still will occasionally climb the stairs of the slide, but can't really slide down anymore.  When she was younger and smaller (18 months - 2 years) she did enjoy the slide a little more but I noticed that the sides at the top of the slide were very small and I had to protect her from falling or any possible injury.  I did like the sturdiness of the base of the slide and the bright colors.  The fact that we could easily throw it in the trunk to take with over to another relative's house due to the light weight and small frame is also a good feature.  It's also small enough to put in a child's larger bedroom or playroom. All in all, this is an average toy.  if you find this item at a garage sale and have a child who is younger than 2 pick this up, otherwise it may not be worth the money you will spend.

The Easy Store slide lives up to its name...it's easy to store and kids love to slide on it. I know that a few of the other reviews have said that it's too fast for kids and you need to be careful, but I've found that it's just the right size and speed. Granted, kids may have a *little *bump at the end, but that's what makes it so fun. These Little Tikes slides are great because they are so durable. We kept ours outside on the deck and even though it got rained on repeatedly (whoops!) it doesn't show rust or damage. The kids love to play on it and it is perfect for any weather. On a sunny day, we take it out on the lawn and they have a blast. On a stormy day, if we remember to bring it in, they love to play on it in the living room. So I definitely recommend the Easy Store slide. It is a fun, durable toy that gives kids a fun time without going too fast or starting up too high. Some slides are a little too high for my liking, but this one is just right.
