Little Tikes Endless Adventure Easy Store Jr. Play Slide Review

My son loved slides and was never afraid of them when we used to go for outdoors. And so, for the summer when he was 18 months we decided to buy the Little Tikes Endless Adventures Easy Store Jr. Play Slide.

The slide is rather bulky but it makes you feel better about it being sturdy enough for little ones. There are two steps which are about 6 inches wide and 12 inches across, plenty big for small feet to step and stand on. The top of the slide is 20 inches above the ground and has curved sort of handles for toddlers to pull themselves up with.

The slide portion is a maroon red color and is 36 inches long. When we first got this slide that was a great length, but the older my son got the less sliding he was actually doing. Now, at just 23 months, he really barely slides a foot when he uses this and for that reason has basically stopped showing any interest in this slide. Right now he is sliding his cars and other wheeled toys over it.

This slide is recommended for ages 1 1/2 to 4 years old but if your child is average or taller than average in height I don't think it will see much use after your child turns 2. It has a weight limit of 50 pounds.

One more thing is the plastic gets quite static in summer too. This slide is usable inside and out. We normally keep it inside. The slide does warn not to place on concrete, asphalt, packed earth, or other hard surfaces where a child could hurt themselves if they fell off it.

Overall we've enjoyed having this slide in our home. At the beginning it got a lot of use and it is very sturdy, so I am sure it will see more years of use in the future. I do wish it was just a tad longer so my son would still be using it, but it more than met his sliding desires as a toddler and two year old.
