We got this slide for $30 from Toys R Us (on sale) recently and our 16.5 month old daughter loves it. She loves to climb up and slide down, over and over again. There are some advantages and disadvantages to this particular model:

Advantages:
  1. Its not very tall, only two steps. My daughter fell off the top within 15 minutes of using it in our house the first time and she cried for less than one minute and was right back on it. We have it on a playmat as you can see in the picture.
  2. It is small and lightweight (less than 20 lbs), so it can be moved easily.
  3. It seems very stabile
  4. Its made in the USA

Disadvantages:
  1. Steeper than some inclines meaning they come down fast
  2. Sides on the top are short meaning they are not as safe
  3. It tends to scoot forward over time even on a textured play mat

Yes, she loves it. The question I still have is how long she will love it...I may follow up after we have had it for a year or so and see if she still loves it.

By the smile on her face I would say it has her stamp of approval ;) Ron
