A great way for kids to learn letters and numbers!

5

The Little Tikes Bath Time Foam Letters and Numbers was a great educational toy! I was looking for something that would help my kids learn while they had fun. I had one learning numbers and letters and another learning easy words. It worked for both. These are hard yet squishy foam. They are pretty sturdy, strong and last awhile. I kept these in a little basket under the sink that had holes in it so they could air out properly. You wouldn't want to store these wet. These letters and numbers have bright vibrant colors and they are a good size. I also liked the price of them. It's a pretty good deal, especially when you can combine something educational with something fun and turn it into a game. I will say that if your kid puts these in their mouth and bites down that it will leave marks on the foam, but other than that they were great! I would recommend using them! They came in handy and my kids loved them!

Fun and educational.

I've bought several sets of the Little Tikes bath time foam letters and numbers throughout the past couple of years. All three of my children have loved them. They make bath time fun while teaching them letters and numbers. These are inexpensive and are definitely worth the cost.

Great learning tool!

I love how these bath numbers and letters take bath time fun and make it educational. I love spelling out words with my children in the tub. They are soft and squishy and great for small children to hold and play with and they easily stick on tub surfaces. They are in bright attractive colors. They make learning fun and that is always a major thumbs up! They are a little pricey though comparatively. They are not very substantial and other toys in the same price range are usually have a whole lot more going on for the price! I don't really like the material that they are made with as small children will chew up the pieces or tear them apart. I would love to wee a bath time letter and numbers set made out of a sturdier material. They are super soft and don't hurt when an excited splasher decides to throw them. Bit off pieces could be a choking hazard for small children which the age limit on the pack takes care of but I would love to see a set suitable for babies.

Foam letters and numbers great for learning.

These foam letters and numbers were actually given to my third baby, but I use them with my preschooler a lot.  My preschooler does not really like to sit down and learn and so I have to find creative ways to incorporate it into our daily routines.  These bath time foam letters & numbers from Little Tikes has been a great way for me to do that. We are able to spend time together practicing and learning and he loves nothing more then to spend a lot of time in the bath tub.  What we usually do is I will just throw a bunch of letters and numbers in the tub that he knows and then I will call out letter and he will try to find it floating in the water.  While he is looking I will call out different works that start with that letter.  Then after we have found all of the letters we usually try and put them in alphabetical order. My baby also really likes the letters and numbers even though he doesn't understand what they mean yet.  He just thinks it is great fun to put them on the bathroom wall and then take them down again.

The Little Tikes Bath Time Foam Letters & Numbers are great!

My little girl absolutely loves bath time and would stay in the water splashing for hours if I let her!  She has some fun bath toys that she enjoys playing with, but I realized that this was the perfect opportunity to introduce a toy that would also help her learn as she plays.  I purchased the Little Tikes Bath Time Foam Letters & Numbers and have been thrilled with this purchase!  Although she's still too young to really recognize what numbers and letters are and to start learning them, I strongly believe that every interaction with letters and numbers will make it that much easier for her to learn them when she is old enough.  She loves sticking them up on the wall and pushing them around in the water.  They are sturdy and at least so far, my little girl hasn't been able to rip them apart although she does try hard sometimes.  i can tell that these tools will be very helpful in the upcoming years!

Lots of fun - but can't keep them clean

I really like the idea of foam bath shapes.  Letters, numbers, shapes, people....it all seems great, but no matter what I do, I can never keep the bath toys from getting moldy.  I've tried bleaching them every couple of weeks, letting them air dry after each bath, and even physically drying them on a towel after bath time.  It seems that no matter what I do, they need to be thrown out within 8-12 months.   Nevertheless, my kids love playing with these and spelling real words, pretend words, and just sticking them on the walls and sides of the tub.  They are a great bathtime activity, and I've even considered doing spelling tests in the tub!  The colors are bright and hold their color for a long time, the shapes themselves are soft and yet durable.  My only problem with this product and all the others like it is - how to keep the mold away? Other than that issue, this is a fun and inexpensive bathtime toy that will give you at least a year of playtime!

I bought these for my old daughter when she was 18 monthes old after a friend recommended them to me.  My friend's son was really good at his letters and numbers already, so I thought I would give these a try.  Boy did it work!  Not only does my daughter love playing with these during her bath time, but she almost immediately started recognizing her letters and numbers!  I also love the fact that they will stick to the side of the bath tub.  During the summer, I also put them in her kiddie pool outside and let her play with them.  She is now 2 1/2 and knows all of her letters and numbers and is learning the sounds that all of the letters make.  I really think this toy helped with that and I would recommend them to anyone.  We also gave them to my nephew for christmas this year and he is enjoying them as well.  I love the idea of educational toys...your kid thinks that they're just having fun, but they're learning too!
