Little People School Bus Review Summary

The Little People School Bus is a big hit with preschoolers and parents alike. It is a fun, durable and affordable toy with lights and sounds. What more could a kid ask for? "lets kids use their imagination and enjoy the sounds as they play," said Bryan-Carey. Kids love playing with pretend toys, especially ones that make them feel like a big kid. Playing with a school bus prepares them for the day when they get to ride on one. The only problem our reviewers reported was that the doors come off easily, but it is still a good buy. Therattlr said, "This is my son's favorite toy." Find out what other toys our reviewers recommend for everything from bulding blocks to pretend play.

Little People are so much fun for "little people" to play with.  Toddlers love the bright colors and chunky pieces that they can grasp easily.  The people are big enough that they don't pose a choking hazard, but small enough to fit nicely into the hands of a child.

Children are fascinated by yellow...

Toddlers LOVE music. They LOVE cars! Little People's School Bus combines the best of both worlds with the Little People Schools Bus, which is available in a lovely orange color or pink option.

What Is It?

It's a small bus for Little People characters that includes an open roof and two usable, movable...

Kids love any type of toy that makes sounds and can be easily moved from place to place. One toy that combines both of these features into one is the Fisher Price Little People Beeps the Bus, a product that let's kids use their imagination and enjoy the sounds as they play.

Toy Commentary:

Fisher Price Little People Beeps the Bus is one of many popular toys in my household. My two little girls both love this toy and have been known to get into shoving matches over who gets to play with it and the main reasons for their uncontrolled enthusiasm are the lights and sounds. The sounds, in particular,...

The little people school bus is a great toy my 2 year old loves to play with it because he sees his older brother going off to school in the big yellow bus. So he loads the bus up and makes his stops around the living room!!! I like the music the bus plays and the people move when you push the bus. It comes with a bus driver and students. The side door opens and the back door. The bus had flashing lights with a pull out stop sign. I have had this toy for 1 year it has held up wonderfully.

my kids are the biggest little people fans out there. My oldest daughter got this bus for her first birthday and it was a hit, however with in a week both doors were pulled off. She just loved putting the people in and out of the seats and pressing the driver to make the bus talk.

three years and two more kids later, they all three still play with it, even with out doors. I just had to replace the batteries but the ol' bus is still up and running!

Both my daughters really enjoyed this bus. The four year old still plays with it occasionally, and the one year old loves it. It plays a song (Wheels on the Bus) and says a few things. It also came with a little kid in a wheelshair, which prompted a good conversation. All in all a nice toy.

My mom bought the bus for my son for play at her house.  Pretty much the first thing he does when he gets there is head to the closet to find his bus.  It entertains him for hours.

Mommy, "There's a school bus, I see it I see it! I want to ride the school bus!" is often heard in my household.  The children LIKE it when I drive through a school district so that they can see the school buses lined up and they think stopping for the real school bus is an adventure.

Fisher Price's Little People collection of toys is always a hit in my household and the  Little People School Bus is no different.  My girls still enjoying playing with the  Little People School Bus even after all this time, they received it as toddlers and now as preschoolers they still play with it. Playtime...

I love all of the Fisher Price Little People sets!  I started buying them or requesting them for gifts when my first child was 16 months old.  At that age, she mostly was interested in carrying the little people around, but soon moved into more imaginative play.  So many of the sets are easy to relate to real-life, which really inspires kids to make connections in their play.  My oldest is now 6 and still plays with the Little People...there isn't much out there that a 6 year old girl will play with her 2 year old brother!  My son is really into the vehicles, and especially loves the bus because... review »

The yellow Little People school bus was given to my oldest daughter (who is now 7 years old) for her first birthday.  She just loved the bus and would play with it everyday.  She would fill up all of the bus seats with Little People and then push the bus all around the house.  She just loved pushing the front seat and making the lights light up and listening to the music.  It was so cute to watch her sing along with the bus while she was playing.

Now, all three of my girls (ages 7, 3, and 1) love to play with the bus.  My youngest daughter received the pink bus for her birthday and all...

WOW! The little people school bus is still available as a toy to purchase.  I am looking at the picture of the bus and it looks different than the little people school bus that I bought years ago for my own children who are now in their late twenties.  But once a classic always a classic, and this will remain a classic for years to come.. Even though the bus has changed it's appearance a little, for somme reason children love yellow school buses.  This toy is great for kids, as they love to put the little people into the seats and take them for a ride.  Then they stop the bus, take all the...

My child received the Little People School Bus as a 1st birthday present, and four years later still pulls it out to play with.  It's offered hours of entertainment over the years.  The people can be put into the bus, and pulled out to be played with seperately if wished.  Yes, there is music and sound effects.  I'm not usually very tolerant with noisy electronic-sounding toys, but this one did not annoy me.  The batteries last a long time, I think we only had to replace them once or twice.  It is still in great shape after the years of play and toddler abuse.  I would recommend!

This is another great must have toy from Fisher Price.  My kids loved pushing down on the driver and making the bus play the song Wheels on the Bus, and listening to the driver talk.  They loved watching the lights flash and moving the stop sign out and in.  They loved the little people that came with it, and used them to play with all of their other Fisher Price toys.  The doors were a little hard for them to open and close, so I always had to help them with that, but they never fell off or broke.

A great durable toy that I would highly recommend.

I liked this little people school bus toy when I bought it.  I can't seem to find the wheelchair anymore, but my son is two and prone to stuffing things in wierd places.

He really likes it when it is in the off position.  He's not really fond of the song / person talking. He likes the stop sign, but the rear door is his favorite.  I never lost the doors, but the "latch" keeping the door in the closed position is worn out from his constant opening and closing.  It lasted about as long as it could stand I guess.

Oh my goodness I was glad to see this toy on this website. My son got this bus for his first birthday and he still uses it. My daughter, who is 4 plays with it too, but my son still claims it as "his" and most of the time will not let her touch it. The door fell off years ago, but who cares? My son has had hours and hours on his knees pushing the bus around. The sound still works on ours and we replace batteries regularly in it. If you are looking for a toy that will last a long time, then this is the toy.
