The Little People Christmas sets by Fisher Price are great fun. Sometimes you can get them directly through Fisher Price or at local toy and discount stores. After Christmas, be sure to look for these to pick up a bargain for next year's holiday season.

They are fun and creative and can lead to oodles of imaginary play and stories and memories from your own childhood holidays. The sets are varied. They include Santa's village with Mrs. Claus, Santa and his sleigh with all of the reindeer, and a new Christmas train. They also have a nativity set and a Chanukah set for diversity.

My daughter was given this last Christmas for a gift. She loved it then and loves it even more this year when we got it out. (She's almost three) We almost couldn't get her to go to bed the night we got it back out. She also likes that it matches some of the Little People animals in her other toys.
