Little America Hotel - Salt Lake City, UT Reviews

The Little America hotel is one of the very, very few I have stayed at which maintains a level of service and customer committment I thought was long lost. Most hotels these days are cookie cutter, or have an impersonal feel to them. Not Little America. This hotel has been in business for many years, and I was concerned that it may have gone downhill. We enjoyed our stay at Little America because of the homey decor, the lovely lobbey with a fireplace, and the cute coffee shop. If I were wealthy I would love to shop in their gift shop but even so, I enjoy looking at their selections since they are high quality and unusual. The room was more than adequately comfortable and furnished. The location is great because we like to eat and shop downtown. The Little America Hotel, SALT LAKE CITY, UT was very comfortable, the room seemed much larger than most with a desk area and a table and two chairs. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The overall feel was that of a much more expensive hotel than what it actually cost. Safe, covered parking and easy access to the room made this a very pleasant stay. Great location in downtown. Easy access from the airport if driving, but they offer comp shuttle service to and from the airport. Close to the TRAX (light rail) which takes you to shopping and dinning. I walked a short distance to Temple Square where 35 acres in the center of Salt Lake City offers free-guided tours and presentation of historic sites, parks, the largest genealogy library and beautiful gardens. I walked past ten to twenty restaurants ranging from fast food to nice steak and seafood restaurants. Our stay at Little America in Salt Lake City was very comfortable. We had huge corner room over looking the city,very nice.
