Cons
Had to use more expensive litter, not too good for several cats, Just doesn't work very well, boged down easily, broke easily

We thought this might make life a little easier, with several cats in the house.  Nothing could have been further from the truth!

The cats enjoyed jumping in and out of it, for fun, but when they'd try to use it, the motor startled them.  And it clogged up.  The litter had to be "groomed" to a specific level, but cats like to dig holes and bury their "business."  That would mess the sensors up.

And try sleeping with it constantly refreshing itself!  I'd rather live next to a railroad track.

Then there is the added expense of the "collection baskets."  When you can get them, that is.  And don't use it on carpet.

One last thing:  Even with the "litter pad" this is a messy box.  The cats don't always walk nicely up and down the ramp, wiping their paws.  They'll jump out where ever they feel like, tracking the litter everywhere.

Save your money.

I think I'll stick to a regular box, it doesn't sound like my cat would like that.
