Littermaid Automatic Self Cleaning Litter Box LM700 Review

The idea of an automatic litter box is a good concept, but something that just didn't work well with my cats. They loved to watch the litter box get cleaned and learned that if they jumped in and out of it, they could set it off. It became more entertainment for them than anything. Also, the teeth of scooper / rake constantly became clogged, causing more cleaning for me than with my regular litter box. There was no way to mask the odor and the containers became very expensive to constantly replace. I ended up switching back to a covered (dome) litter box and found that it worked much easier. Sometimes the more advanced products are not always better than the original simpler solutions.
