Not all it's cracked up to be....

multiple cat owner, a cat lover, concerned w/safety & comfort of my pets, Hate to clean litter box, willing to pay more for quality, all about practical

Pros

cuts pooping scopping time in 1/2, easy to use

Cons

the electric rake gets stuck sometimes, doesn't get all the dirty litter, Motor wears out too fast, exposed wire--my kitty got zapped!, clumps get stuck to rake prongs

Went through 2 of these in 6 months... First one the motor burnt out (boy did that stink!) when the rake got stuck. And yes, I sprayed the box with non-stick cooking spray like the manufacturer said to! The second one got stuck and tried to reverse while my kitty was behind the rake, he promptly attacked the wire knowing I guess that it was what was pulling it back and zapped himself. He's ok but I no longer recommend Littermaid!
