I Wouldn't be Without it!

Pros

    no smell, easy to use, cats seem to like it, cuts pooping scopping time in 1/2, cleaning time is almost nil

Cons
    waste containers pricey, not biofriendly, clumps get stuck to rake prongs, Motor wears out too fast

I think this is a great concept. It's a great time saver, as I only have to empty the waste every 3 or 4 days. I reuse the plastic receptacles, as they do get pricey. Now, if Littermaid would only improve the life expectancy I would be estatic. As it is, my first one lasted 2 or 3 years before it died. The second one I had to return after a few days as it didn't work at all & the one I have now periodically stops working for 2 or 3 days at a time before it starts working again (without doing anything to it). It's now a couple of years old so may have to replace it soon. BUT....I wouldn't be without it. The cats like it, as their box is always relatively fresh and clean....and, with 3 cats, that's crucial! Overall, it has more pros than cons and I would definately recommend it (and do)!
