As people say, it seems to do its job well. It claims to help reduce cavities, fight plaque, get rid of bad breath, and a variety of other things. As far as I can tell, it does help with all of those. But the first time you use it, be warned. It's taste is a tad strong. If you really hate spicy foods or things with a strong flavor, especially that of mint, try this with caution. I am one of these people, so my first mouthful just about made me lose my lunch, let alone keep it in my mouth for the requisite amount of time. It has a very strong spearmint taste, and also leaves a bit of an aftertaste. It also seems to have a distinct metallic tang that sticks around for a half-hour or so, but that might just be me. And it simply serves to remind me not to eat anything for a bit. But, now that I've been using it awhile, it does help keep my mouth fresh. And, it doesn't take long to get used to the strong taste. So...a bit risky on the taste, but pretty good overall.

This is the only mouthwash I ever use. I was prone to cavities, but this mouthwash as well as regular flossing and brushing seems to help in preventing additional cavities. While some consumers may object to the alcohol in this mouthwash, I prefer the presence of alcohol as I believe it helps more in the killing of germs and the freshening of my breath when I first wake up in the morning. I usually do not brush my teeth in the morning as I eat a late breakfast due to time constraints and the fact that I, like many others, am not hungry upon first awakening; however, I swish a mouthful of this wash around my mouth while preparing for the day. This is all that I have found to be necessary to completely freshen my mouth, and I believe the alcohol definitely helps in this regard. While an individual can tell alcohol is present in the mouthwash, the taste of this mouthwash is fine. I recommend this mouthwash to all those in a hurry in the morning, but who want to ensure their breath is fresh.

Great to know that when you are using this fresh tasting mint mouthwash you are also helping your mouth to stay clean and fresh and more importantly to fight cavities. Who wants cavities? Nobody wants the pain, discomfort or costly dental bills so here is a wonderful idea to cut down on those bills and help yourself. Once you try it you will be hooked on the wonderful taste it leaves your mouth feeling refreshed and helping to prevent bad breath and cavities a great combination.

In the past I have tried lots and lots of different Listerine and this Is decent but not great the taste isn't perfect or anything to brag about but the quality of the job is good I think that it's only downfall is the taste but like I said I wouldn't go back to the old one because it doesn't do as much ad this one does

I've never used mouthwash - but really wanted to try it after I experience a painful root canal.  And I discovered that since the water in our area doesn't contain fluoride, my teeth were starting to rot unless I took action.  I set out to find a mouthwash that has fluoride and would help fight plaque and reduce cavities.  Of all the mouthwashes out there, **Listerine Total Care Anticavity Mouthwash - Fresh Mint **was the most affordable. The first time I tried it - I thought I had understood the directions (swish in mouth for 1 minute), but I got the proportions all wrong and was surprised by the overwhelming burning sensation.  (I think I had 3 times the recommended dose).  It doesn't take much for this mouthwash to do it's job. I'm not sure the burning sensation is a con - it burns - but that means that it's working! I would recommend this to anyone who cares for the health of their teeth (and live in an area where fluoride isn't added to their water.)

Listerine Total Care Works! I use it twice a day to help freshen my breath after meals and it really does the job! It does have alcohol as an ingredient and it burns slightly but the taste outweighs the burn. I like that it has 6 benefits: 1. Helps prevent cavities 2. restores enamel 3. strengthens teeth 4. kills bad breath germs 5. freshens breath 6. cleans the whole mouth Although I have not been to the dentist since I have started using Listerin Total Care but I feel that it definitely works at killing the germs and freshening the breath. We will see what the dentist has to say next month regarding the other aspects that is noted as a benefit. I do have to note that there are 3 cons: 1. having to wait 30 minutes to eat or drink after using 2. The lid! Yes, the lid! I sometimes have difficulty getting the bottle open because you have to squeeze then twist. Childproof and sometimes adult proof too! 3. Price - can be double what you would pay for storebrands. I would recommend buying Listerine total care if you find it on sale and do not mind waiting to eat or drink.

I started using Listerine Total Care Anticavity mouthwash when my dentist recommended it to me at my last visit. He gave me a small sample from his office to try. I thought it did a really good job and I liked all the benefits it said it would offer me. It kills bad breath germs nicely and leaves my mouth feeling very clean. I liked the fact that it is suppose to help restore enamel because i feel like mine has slowly eroded away over the years. I'm sure drinking soda contributed alot to that. It does have a bit of a burn when you put it in your mouth, but it is not really that bad of a burn. It also fights plaque above the gum line and the dentist said that was a good thing to keep an eye on. The color of it is so pretty too.

First off, I love the color of this product. It's so... fresh and new. Who isn't attracted to the style and color of it's packaging? I love how this stuff works. It does sting- but that doesn't bother me. If you don't like the tingle of freshness (aka Alcohol) then you won't like this product. However, I really like that. I love how it makes your mouth feel fresh, and vibrant after you use it! It tastes really, really good too! I like how this does all 6 things too. You get whitening and cavity protection! I haven't noticed a huge difference in the whiteness of my teeth since I started using this- but I can definitely tell a difference in the cleanliness of how my mouth feels, and in the lasting power of my minty fresh breath. This smell/taste lasts a long time in your mouth- even through eating. It foams up kind of when you swish- and really gets in and cleans those teeth! This is a bit pricey- but you can get coupons and things that help with that too!

All mouthwashes are not created equal! Took me awhile to figure that out but this is by far the best mouthwash! Yes, it is a bit spicy (as my kids would say) but I love how it leaves my mouth feeling fresh and clean. Not like some others that seem to leave a film covering the inside of your mouth.
