Sure these dissolving white strips have some downfalls but so did all of the other brands. Leftover residue can be annoying if you are using them on the go but at home it's just another reason to brush your teeth with a whitening toothpaste and get twice the white! These also may not be as strong as some people would like, but if you have major stains it's only logical you will need to have major treatment. Plus they aren't intended for dental work like caps, crowns, veneers or dentures.
I think the listerine white strips are amazing as a preventative measure, like using a wrinkle cream before you have visible wrinkles to stay on top of them before they get out of hand. As a college student I am always on the go, a smoker and coffee drinker and don't always haev the time to brush immediatly afterwards which is no good as far as stains are concerned, and the listerine strips only take 5-10 minutes compared to the usual 30 that other brands require. I think they give just the right amount whitening to prevent these sort of things from happening, a little bit overtime can go a long way and they don't leave my teeth feeling sensitive surprisingly either.
I was sent some samples and coupons to hand out for this product and everyone I talked to and handed them out to thought they were a great idea, even me, obviously, and bought my own pack to have with me. I always have some thrown in my bag so I can use them wherever I end up. You should give them a try to if you haven't. Trust me, the pros completely outweigh the cons, and you will be happy you did.
