I decided to try the Listerine Antiseptic Mouthwash that was vanilla and marketed with less intense. And I have to say I am very impressed with what Listerine did with this product. I absolutely hate using mouthwash. Every time I use mouthwash I feel like my mouth is going to burn all day long and I can never get it to stop. I decided to try this because of the sole fact it was marketed for less intense. I was so ecstatic to find out that it really was less intense. I love the fact that is in vanilla flavor/scent. Not many of the other brands give you many options besides your basic mint and spearmint. And of course I personally hate anything that is mint or spearmint. My mouth feels so fresh and so clean using the Listerine Antiseptic Mouthwash. I feel like it actually keeps my mouth clean and fresh for the entire day and actually works better than some of the other more powerful brands.

I absolutely LOVE Listerine mouth washes. And I absolutely LOVE vanilla scented things. However this time I was disappointed. While the vanilla Listerine works VERY well & does its job (no complaints there!), I had a really hard time with it smelling like vanilla! And I usually love vanilla scented things! There was just something about it being a MOUTHWASH that made it smelling like vanilla, weird. I guess when I clean my teeth, I want my mouth to smell minty fresh- not like I just ate something baked or sweet. While its not a BAD smell at ALL, it was just a little strange to me.  Again, my complaints are not against the quality of the mouth wash or the job that it does because it works just fine & helps clear up my never ending gingivitus, however its just the scent that really throws me for a loop. Maybe its just me, who knows. But I can guarantee you, if you want your breath to smell fresh, I think you'll find the vanilla version a little odd to say the least!

i loved it when it first came out it had the full burn that lets you know its working hard but then it went to soft vanilla mint and now just "soft mint" you can still feel a burn but its not as good as it used to be. something about barely being able to keep it in your mouth for 30 seconds felt good. like it could burn the aids right out of your mouth, probably can. but now its soft. still my mouthwash of choice though id recommend it.

I'm not an avid mouthwasher. I hate the taste and the burn in my mouth, but I recently bought a 1 liter of Listerine Vanilla Mint Mouthwash - LESS INTENSE. Maybe this is due to my inexperience with mouthwash or maybe it's just my mouth...but it was still pretty intense. When I tried a different kind of mouthwash that was not marketed as less intense, I felt like there was little difference. I do quite enjoy the taste of vanilla mint. It's much less strong than just mint. My teeth feel squeaky clean after I use Listerine Vanilla Mint Mouthwash, so that is a plus of course. I'm not sure why one of the "cons tags" is that it's no longer available. I bought my bottle a few months ago at a grocery store chain. I haven't gone back for more yet, nor have I paid attention to its availability, but I'm surprised if it really is gone now. If it is still available, I will purchase it again and I do recommend it to others, mostly for the surprisingly pleasing taste!

This is great. It doesn't have that overpowering alcohol feel that makes your mouth feel like its on fire. And it leave your mouth feeling fresh and clean with that nice vanilla after taste. Since its an antiseptic you don't spend all day in the bathroom rinsing either.
