The day after Thanksgiving, my mom and sister were staying with us and I decided to make a pot of beef vegetable soup. We were planning to head out to the Black Friday sales (at a reasonable time!) so I tossed a bunch of beef cuts into the crock pot. I added an envelope of the Lipton Onion soup, two tablespoons of bead molasses, a couple of dashes of soy sauce and a cup of water. Off we went to battle some strangers in the shopping aisles.
