I wasn't into it the first season, but now I am.
a girl, finally tired of Sex in the City, a TV lover, into some dramas but not all

I've watched every episode of Lipstick Jungle on NBC.  The first season, I watched thinking.... ehhhh.  I didn't think I'd keep watching it when it came back, however somehow I got into it this season.  I think the first season was awkward because I had to get to know the characters - and the show did make the characters a little bit overact in the start.  Now that the characters are developed, they are more real.

This is the best new tv show, in my opinion, of this year!!  It's a comedy-drama starring Brooke Shields, Kim Raver and Lindsay Price. A look at the lives of Nico, Wendy, and Victory -- three of New York's  Most Powerful Women! It follows three high-powered friends as they go through the ups and downs of their lives lived at the top of their game. I am not a huge television fan, but this is a great new show on tv.  Lipstick Jungle is a drama about three friends who are trying to manage their home life, their careers and turn into successful women.  The show is based on the best-selling book by Candace Bushnell and follows three high-powered friends as they weather the ups and downs of life in the Big Apple.  Movie exec Wendy (Brooke Shields) does everything she can to balance career and family. Whatever happened to this great show? I saw only a few episodes and was beginng to get into it and then there was no more! I loved these beautiful and successful career women with their stylish clothes, smarts and men problems. I felt there was a bit of fantasy me in each. Each of them had a little of me and also some characteristics of who I wanted to be. I liked the hardworking career woman who was more succesful than her unemployed husband.
