Maybelline Shinylicious Lip Gloss
Maybelline shiny licious in number 50 sugar plum is a beautiful gloss which was given to me by my eighteen year old daughter, Stacy. This product is made in the United States. It is a .38 fl. oz. tube which is small yet not used up immediately. The color of the cap is the same as the color on my lips, yet it is also different in the tube. I keep it by the desk computer for right when I go to the busstop each afternoon for after a day of monotonous chores I know at least my lips look and feel good. review »Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Lip Gloss
I purchased this on a two for 10 deal not long ago. I got a couple of the berry/pink colors. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the colors were sheer and not anywhere close to as bright as they appeared in the tube. The applicator was nice and the gloss came out at a nice rate. I did find the fragrence a bit off putting, as it lingered longer than I liked. I also found that it remained tacky for quite a long time after application. I think it is a nice product, but not that much different from others on the market.
DuWop Lip Venom
I've only tried two products from Duwop, so I can't say much for the overall quality of the brand; however, the Lip Venom, as a lip plumper and lipgloss, is a pretty cool concept. Venom is an appropriate name for this lipgloss/plumper combo, as you can feel a stinging sensation a few minutes after applying the gloss on. Your lips feel bigger and redder like it usually does after eating something spicy and hot, and they do indeed look plumper and redder, and shiny as well. When I heard MAC was coming out with a black lipglass, I became really excited - especially as I'd missed out on Lancome's Piha Black a few seasons ago.
While this product looks great on - high shine, with a bold, dramatic shade that can be applied very subtly if desired (this is definitely a gloss to use over lipstick, as it enhances any shade nicely, from pale neutrals to outright black...looks especially great over reds), it suffers from one big drawback - namely, it bleeds terribly. This definitely requires lipliner - you may even want to use a primer first.

Avon Glazewear Lip Gloss
With so many different types of lip color on the market, why is it that I am so loyal to one brand and one color? The answer is that Avon Glazewear Lip Gloss in Buttered Rum is the best color for my skin tone out of all of the other lipsticks and lip stains in my cosmetics drawer. Further, I love the long-lasting, high gloss shine that never gets sticky (or caught in my hair).

I rarely stray from my go-to lip color: Avon Glazewear in Buttered Rum. It's the perfect color for my skin tone, and I love the non-sticky shine and easy applicator. So, when I saw that Avon had a sale on its Glazewear Lip Lacquer, I happily bought this new (for me) version in a new color--Perfect Brown.
