Linksys Wireless-G Router With Power Boost (WRT54GS) —
I paid full price for this because it was rated best on the market in value & price. First installation, with the computer on the other side of the room from the router was a snap and worked fantastic. When I moved the computer to the opposite corner of a 1,100 sq ft house, it couldn't find the router. I had to pay a computer geek to come to my house in the country and 'jiggle' with it to get it to work. Worth the trouble/money as he did some other stuff including firewall and pass word protect things. But, when I moved to a totally new location, with a totally new computer, it didn't want to let that computer connect to it. It also ceased to recognize the laptop. I had to uninstall and reinstall several times, and now it doesn't want to connect and drops me more frequently than I used to get. However, now that I've figured out how to reset it, at least I know what to do quickly to get it working again. My opinion, not for the plug it in and turn it on person, in spite of it being advertised that way.
