Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router 2.4 GHz Review

I went with a less expensive Linksys Wireless-G 2.4GHz Router unit so that everyone in the household could acess the internet. We have three pc's and one laptop. It works fine with the pc's but not so well with the laptop. The adapter for the laptop has a hard time gaining acess to the signal. I have a three story house and the main unit is in the basement so this may have something to do with the signal. When the signal does come thru it is always low. I have to repeatedly disconnect and re connect the adapter. I have also had to re-install the software three times now on the laptop. The good thing about the unit is that the main unit  has only had to be reset one time in the year that I have had it. Overall for me the router has performed well for the price I paid for the unit. We are only novices so if you are a pro you may want to go to a higher grade unit. This has been the right unit for us for our uses for this.
