Despite the advances in wireless security over the years, there is still a basic belief the wireless communications are prone to hacking, when in fact there are a number of ways you can mitigate the risk to your data. read full review »The Linksys WRT310N by Cisco is an excellent product. I used this product to replace an older access point. I had several devices that could utilize the N wireless radio, so I purchased this product. One thing as an end-user I very much appreciated was the fact that they had step-by-step instructions on what you needed to do to set this up. This router is capable of housing your internal network.
The wireless security options range from open, WPA, radius, and WEP. I tried open, WEP, and WPA2. Because I wanted tighter security in my wireless network I chose WPA2 security with AES encryption....
