When I first purchased this product almost a year ago it simply did not work well, and many hours were spent with tech support on the phone. So I go a replacement which worked adequately, but certainly not what I expected. Sometimes service slows to a crawl without explanation, wireless connections dropped on occasion, but nevertheless too often. And then after 11 months it died completely. Trying to get Cisco to honour the warrantee was a terrible experience, consuming several days and several hours, requiring conversations with several of their staff. They finally sent a replacement unit which appears to be the most bug-free of the 3. However, I decided to buy Linksys because I was tired of buying bargain routers that cost half as much and that lack performance and longevity. For me, Linksys did not live up to its better branding.

This router is a very nice Router,   Very nice range,  Pretty easy to seup,  And the thing just looks awesome,  I love the blue lights on it that flash, and the router is thin,   All around a very nice router. My phone has built in wifi but its only wireless g in it and in my old router i had limited range where i could recieve wifi signal on my phone, but now that i got this router i can pick up the internet further than before which i really love! This router is made by linksys which is the only brand of router i have used, i simply love linksys, they have the best quality routers. Another great thing about linksys is their product support, If you need help just call them! This router does come with a cd, but if you know how to set a router up you will not need it, but for people who dont the cd makes it easy for you to setup your linksys router,  The router does come with a sticker over the ethernet ports on the back that says RUN CD FIRST!  I recommend this router to everyone! I tell everyone i know that needs a router to buy a linksys!

If you want to go wireless at home, but don't want to pay someone to set it up. This will get you started. It's not the top of the line, but its range will surprise you. My personal hot spot carries a desk top pc, 2 laptops and a printer using this device. Yes, you read it right. I use this device for my families wireless network. With it we check email, surf the web, chat with friends, down load music and watch movies. Depending on the type of internet connection, streaming movies and music may be slow. Set up is simple, connect device, insert disk and follow instuctions. The Linksys system does the rest. The WRT120N for the price works great for a small family house with few WIFI devises.

We got bought this router for the mean time while we waited to go get our things from storage abotu 600 miles away but it really is not  worth the money we paid for it.  We have a desktop and two laptops and we get barely any connection most of the day on either laptop when we were using this router.  We ended up having to buy a new one.  Granted there were times when the connection was better (late at night for some reason but with 4 young kids we need all the sleep we can get) but really aggravating when I had stuff to take care of online.  I would only recommend this if you are not using it constantly or have more than one laptop running off of it.  Although we have had some aggravation with it, I should tell you some of the positive things about it also and let you form your own opinion based on your personnal needs/use.  This router is very easy to setup and gives great step  by step instructions that are not at all confusing.  It is also very quick to setup.

We had our this router for many years and it has been a very bumpy and frustrating ride.  Between disconnections and having to recycle the router, there had been many times we wanted to throw the router out the windows. I'll start off by saying this... Make sure your firmware is up-to-date at all times.  Many times our problems were solved by a firmware update that we didn't know about.  Also, make sure you are knowledgeable on how to recycle your modem and router.  Like rebooting your computer if you have a problem, 99% of this router's problems could be fixed by power cycling. The positives about this router are the following: 1.  A lot of people own it.  If you have any questions about the router, you can find any answer on the internet. 2.  It is very programmable.  Accessing the router is easy and leads to very easy programing. 3.  It isn't very expensive and can create a home network quickly! 4.  It has excellent range.  A 2.4 GHz signal has great range to begin with, but this router seemed to be even further. We upgraded to a dual band router and if not the need for 5.0 GHz signal, we would still be using this router.

I bought this router last year when I needed a router with wireless functionality to connect some of the electronics stuff I bought.  It did what it was suppose to do and it was great.  The router does look flash and sleek and I wouldn't be embarrassed about it showing up for people to see.  Something that I don't like about this router is that sometimes I can't get the best wireless connection that I want.  I can get good reception at about 100 feet but sometimes it is sometimes iffy and not that good.  The router also comes with firmware that allows for password protection for when you need to protect your wireless connection from outside intruders.  The firmware also many other options you can change but I haven't had a need for it as of right now.  I bought this router for more than I should, but now it is cheaper and is definitely worth it if you need a router with wireless functionality.

I recommend everyone buying this if you are looking for a good new Linksys. They are not very expensive and do the trick for any user to have a great experience.

Very disappointing. First of all when i saw the "N" label, I thought it would work faster with my laptop which has a b/g/n card in it. However, it doesn't display "N" in the broadcast. Also if you manually set it to N only, the computer won't even connect. So I wonder what kind of "N" signal it is sending out. Sort of like a b/g router labeled as an N router to boost sales. Second thing. It drops internet connection every 20 to 30 mins. Laptop is connected to the router, but you won't be able to access the internet and you can see that your download speeds drop to zero. It resets itself after 3 or 4 mins, or you can perform a hard reset on the router. If this happened once in a while, I could've lived with it. But it seems to happen every time I go online.   Sleek looking, easy setup - you do not have to use that CD to set up the router. just connect as usual using your laptop and follow the instruction without having to insert the CD.

We recieved the Linksys WRT120N wireless n home router for Christmas last year and we have struggled all year long just to keep it online.  We finally gave up and it just sits up on a shelf right now and we share the one computer in the computer room.  Trying to get assistance with this device is like pulling teeth.  They won't give you your code to get into the help and advise if you have forgotten it and they definitely won't email it to you.  I have had to go in a clear the program off my computer several times and reinstall it.  Even when it was running half decent the computer that was wireless would go off several times and day and I would have to imput the code to get it back on. I had a linksys several years ago that works wonderfully that is why I really didn't think I would have problems with this on.
